I never realized it but on my MP3 player are a lot of songs starting with "hey guys, i'm gonna be singing..." I always loved that voice but never knew who she was. my sister downloaded a hell lot of songs onto the mp3 player. I miss Christina, I hope she is at a better place now. My wife is a dance coach/choreographer; she used this song for a performance she choreographed. I loved it! The song is so powerful and I think the show her dance troupe put on was amazing (obviously a little biased)! I loved watching Christina on The Voice, and watching her progression. Extremely sad that her life was ended so tragically and way too soon because of someone with a mental illness. I would have loved to see where she could have been as her career grew. I bet she would have been incredibly successful! I hope her and her family are at peace, despite the lunatic that took her life. Thank you Christina for allowing me to hear your beautiful voice and helping me smile while watching my wife’s use of your song.

Independent artists often are underrated. She had to make her own opportunities and pay for expenses out of her pocket. She mentions it briefly in "Calling all Team Grimmie". Nothing fell into her lap. That's why she was so excited about the contests-she needed them. She wouldn't touch all the contracts being shoved in her face. No shortcuts. Smart. Christina did everything right. Man I respect her so much. I miss her terribly. This is so wrong.

I had no idea who she was, but just watched the show “Death by Fame” on Investigation Discovery, and haven’t stopped crying. 😢 My baby girl will be 22 this year, and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without her. It’s just extremely sad that she just got her career started and it was ended by someone who was extremely selfish and felt like he needed to end her life just because she found love. I’m glad I know her story now! She should never be forgotten! ❤ I also think that she is definitely singing in heaven right now! And getting standing ovations every time! ❤

I watched the story about her hard earned climb to stardom and came to say to myself how does this happen. Mentally Ill people are walking the streets watching from afar or for that matter right next to us. How can we feel safe inside ourselves when society has to deal with this. We can’t fight what we can’t see. I understand she even welcomed this person who was at the concert. May you rest in peace Christina.
