Find Me In The River is a simple song with very simple, but interesting lyrics. The song, as far as I understand it, tells a story about a believer who has run dry. A believer who has tried on his own. A believer who has been living a surface Christian life. The well of self effort and religion can only sustain you for so long. It will run dry eventually. And now this believer is admitting that “we didn’t count on suffering, we didn’t count on pain, but if the blessing is in the valley, then in the river I will wait“. It’s so true that we often don’t count on suffering and difficulties in our walk with God. Even though Jesus made it painfully clear that we would experience problems and tribulations as his followers (John 15: 18-27 is just one example), we forget that. We forget that there is a cost to real, authentic discipleship and life and intimacy with God! Our flesh needs to be crucified. We need to lay down our ideas, thoughts, opinions, desires, dreams and allow God to call the shots and direct us. And he will lead us through the valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23), because he wants us to come to the place where we say that we will wait and endure anything as long as we will receive God’s life and blessings! Hi brother, I have to tell you the truth. We have all sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. We are all sinners who are deserving death and our good deeds do not wipe away our bad deeds. But God in His great love for us sent His one and only Son Jesus to die on the cross for the world, me and for you. And if you do this is what the the Bible says in John 1 verse 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name: I hope and pray that you see God's truth. Movie was great, very insperational. Saw Melissa's Mom on an interview on you tube. She said when her daughter said she was cured in the hospital bed she actually got out of bed and went into the bathroom. The doctors and nurses told her not to get up and she did not listen, after returning to the bed. Her Mom said she had visible tumors in her stomach area that had disappeared. She got back into bed and went back to sleep and later had passed. That was God's way of telling everyone she was okay.

This song hit as hard as my life. My life just falling apart at 15 years. I'm not joking at all. My parent actually make me in this situation. I was a star student at elementary. After going to Junior HS, everything falling apart. Really. My parent perception is the best way to broke me. My parent always say "you going no where without going to your brothers school(its a favourite school actually) " At 13 Feb 2022, i watch this movie. Hearing the song. ATM, i feel i was the most useless people in the world. "Even though youre gone" I interpret that part as my hope. In the spare Augustus 2021 and Feb 2022, i hit the most struggle part of my life so far. And start ignoring the school, my health, my mental, let it broke. As broke as possible. And pretend that, this is my last day on earth everyday. Now, after the song and the movie. All i need to do is to be grateful for what you have. Trust God's plane. After doing that 2 things. Well said I’m some one who wore my emotions on my sleeve. As a man not afraid to show my emotions. In my opinion when we show our emotions it shows our vulnerability, especially if it’s before God. I had my doubts, but the cast turned out to be the best thing about this movie. I don't want to offend anyone, but I usually avoid Christian films. I'm not a believer myself, and very often I find the films too preachy, but I'm glad I gave this one a chance. I think it's relatable to everyone, not just Christians. It's a predictable storyline, but Jeremy and Melissa were adorable and the music was sweet.

They toned down the religious aspect a lot in the movie. What Melissa actually said was 'if one person finds jesus then it will have all been worth it"...but it was changed to "if one person's life is changed". They also didn't say in the movie that Jeremy went to a bible college, just calling it a college with Chapel in the title. To be honest I was a bit surprised that Jeremy allowed them to change the quote from Melissa.

i had my grandma watching this today I seen it when it first came out with no one but there was nothing to watch so I went on hulu and started looking for movies and searched up kj apa cuz why not and I still believe popped up so I texted her and ask if she watched it yet thank god she said no cuz ive never seen her cry but today was the first day because of this movie and she told me it remined her from when my grandpa was in the hospitle when they found cancer in him back in 2012 (he died a year later) and thats when she found out that god has plans for everyone because of that movie now im looking back at old baby photos of me with him and by god I miss that old man.
