@@addy_7368 I'd argue he does, or at least Hollywood and the media will say he does. They are in the height of representation in entertainment and Miles is very strictly half black and half Latino. It is not only his heritage but his culture (Latina mom, African American black dad). Maybe if he had been played as many times as Peter in movies I'd be fine to just cast someone who looks the part, but seeing as how this would be his first live action representation, and how rare/special I'd be to have a POC Spider-Man (or superhero lead in general) I just don't think Sony could cast him without there being backlash, and for decent reason.
