Ricky, I was considering purchasing a Roame membership after watching this video until I actually tested the service out myself. The prices reflected on Roame's website are not accurate when comparing them to the airline's website. Eg. Aug 26th 11:40am Departure SFO > YVR - Roame: 19.2k Aeroplan points | AC: 31k Aeroplan points. You should go into further detail on how Roame is integrated with the airline websites, because it doesn't appear to be live as your video title entails.

I’d like to trial the site without being prompted to sign up for an account at every click. Happy to sign up for an account once I see the value but at this point… I don’t see much. Maybe turn that off temporarily as you begin promoting….

I only sign up when I have a trip I need to track, so it ends up being 2-3 monthly fees per year for me.

Cancellation fee is my pet peeve... Aeroplan wanted 150! Seems excessive since I am doing all the work to book my travel. AND they retain the cost of paid seat selection. 😢😢😢

Out of roame, seats.aero, award logic, expert flyer, etc. what would you say is the best, for us individual travelers we probably dont want to pay for all of those. And usually our problem is not being able to find award space on specific date ranges and no alerts.

They each have their pros and cons. I recommend trying the free versions and see which ones you like.

Is it worth booking award bookings on Qatar Airways QSuites using Flexi Award rates at 170000 points from Montreal to India? I always find it hard to find the 85000 base award price even if its 6 months into the future. (i have flown before and now I can’t get enough of it and addicted😂)

They are booked out over an year in advance.. Your best bet is if someone cancels..

Only you can answer if you are happy with that point redemption relative to paying cash, flying economy, or using another airline loyalty program. As others have said, consider planning further ahead, or using search tools to help you find award space.

You can use other oneworld programs such as Qantas, American, or Alaska to find possible Avios redemptions.
