"Everytime I look at..." I think even fans in Seoul have to plan far ahead and calculate how they get to concerts, as well, just not on this scale. And international fans are on yet a different level, too. I loved listening to these fans who seem to have their fangirling down to a science. It's not easy being ARMY, but it is so worthwhile.

They are all Armys. Except for the girl who said Stay (in the past, army), In fact, half of the Korean population lives in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province (near Seoul). So in other areas, even if it's not necessarily a concert, people don't have a seat unless they have to make a reservation in advance to take a bus or train to go to Seoul on the weekend. If there's a BTS concert, it gets worse. So many K-pop fans rent buses for each region themselves. Coming to Seoul by public transportation is very complicated, so we gather at least 20 people online and rent buses from each region to and from the front of the concert hall. So, during encore time or the ending greeting, you have to leave the concert hall quickly and get on the bus before it's too late bcuz of crowd. In the case of the US or Japan, each region is well equipped with representative stadiums and dome venues, but since Korea has less than 40 years of great cultural development, all venues and events are in Seoul. The World Cup was held in Korea in 2002, and the stadium was also opened in other regions, but it is very difficult to hold a stadium-scale concert because it is used for training and matches for K-League soccer players. Also, even if the stadium is lucky enough to be empty, there are no accommodations nearby to accommodate that number of people. As it was the same in Busan, Korea's second-largest city, the recent concert in Busan was also only held with K-ARMY's efforts.

i thought what the countryside fans said isn't all that uncommon for us international fans. isn't it true that as soon as the concert date is posted a lot of us book travel/stay places way ahead of time? like the fans said, and this is true for us too i think, if you just wait a week before the concert date is, everything is already booked out or waaaay expensive

“Provincial fan” is someone who lives outside of Seoul in one of the 9 provinces of South Korea. It sounds like these fans are from fairly small cities or rural areas, meaning they have to travel by train/bus several hours to get to Seoul concerts and kpop events, and maybe it’s difficult to meet up with other fans.

Los army de provincia y los internacionales la tenemos difícil, ustedes porque viven en los USA y los chicos van seguido, pero creo que muchos pasamos por situaciones similares, en LATAM no vienen casi nunca, los album y merch se tardan en llegar casi un mes, solo podemos ver a los demás en línea. En los conciertos es igual de difícil sin contar que como casi nunca vienen a LATAM debes viajar al extranjero y acomodar muchas cosas sin contar los gastos y el tiempo. You guys have been to a BTS concert, but its true for most cities and ARMY coming into the local area that they have to plan almost immediately after the show location & dates drop! If you have yo get a hotel, flights, and even a car for the location of the concert if you don’t do it within the first day or two prices SKY ROCKET and hotels book up completely! Ive been to over 20 BTS shows I think ( not saying that to brag!! I’ve been ARMY a long time & lucky to travel around the US) i say that just to explain that this always the case! You might be able to find a hotel MILES away for triple the price, so its not like you can’t make something work. But the point is you HAVE to do it on announcement day to get decent prices, workable flight schedules!

I actually cried while watching the segment where they asks what it means to be a fangirl... like tears fell down haha, I really got emotional and then it got worse when I saw Jimin got teary eyed, too... huhuhuhu. I really like this concept. I wish BTS would one day be able to see or speak to ARMYs like this, I actually relate to those provincial fangirls since the latest concert I have gone to was 4 to 5 hrs away from where I live, but the good thing is we have a carpool so transpo was not really an issue. As both an army and stay (Stray Kids fan) i was so happy to see him talk about Felix. Chan (Stray Kids leader) saw the video and was so happy and wanted to be recognised,even though he's friends with Jungkook (they're both 97 liners). You guys started to figure it out but basically Seoul is the epicenter of South Korea so the provinces are the outside areas where it's probably way more difficult to have access to Kpop events because all of the idols live in Seoul and most of the events are in Seoul. I also think these people are from outside other huge cities so the transport isn't easy. America has a big driving culture, I'm not sure if Korea does. I know that European countries don't have that same driving culture so I imagine Asian countries are like that too. A long car trip to my British friends are like... 2 hours but that's not too bad for Americans. Plus them being from provinces, they worry about train and bus stations closing in their areas. I used to live in France and in Paris I didn't have to worry about transportation but when I took a job in the south of France, I had to be able to drive because I had to go between different towns to do some things.

Oh, man! This was so funny I can't stop laughing. And I feel you, Uthman, I never really think this side of our k-army eventhough I know not all places in SK is a big city. I learned a lot from this. And I can kinda relate in some way cause as someone that is not having distributor for their album in my country, I legit should wait for several months 'till I finally opened mine. And I'm also a provincial fan too in my country so those travel expenses and all is just sooo relatable. Tq for doing this pixid reaction ! It feels so wholesome when Jimin didnt realise not only they have to fight to get BTS tickets but logictis n hotel stay are essential too. Currently, we are trying to get tickets for Suga's solo concerts but none are in Malaysia. So we have to decide if we are to go to Singapore, Bangkok; Thailand or Jakarta; Indonesia...price tickets are available...now we need to quickly calculate air plane tickets n hotel rates in each of those countries 🙃🙃🙃....but why...why don't hybe come to malaysia ??
