Must see for Harley owners. Find and record your bike's security password in case your key fob battery goes dead or you lose it. Don't get caught away from home with no way to start your bike.

it's likely due to the security system being triggered. Here are some things you can try: If the fob battery is low or dead, the motorcycle might not recognize it. Default PIN: If you haven't set a custom PIN, it might be the default factory PIN. Check your owner's manual for the default code or contact the dealer. Follow these steps to enter the PIN: Turn the ignition key to the "On" position. Hold the left turn signal button until you see "Enter PIN" on the display. Use the turn signal buttons to enter your PIN. The left button changes the digit, and the right button moves to the next digit. Battery Connections: Double-check the battery connections. System Reset: Sometimes, resetting the security system can help. This can often be done by disconnecting the battery again for a few minutes, then reconnecting it and trying the start sequence again. If all else fails, contact your Harley-Davidson dealer. They can help you.

The Sequence is different on older models of the Dyna, this doesn't work on my 08 Dyna. Even the Owners manual says to do the same thing this video shows but still doesn't work.

In a previous vid I watched, it was a 2019 , he said for step two , to press left turn sig twice , not three times like in this video.

Sorry to hear that. I think I would contact the dealer and ask that question. They may have to disable it for you which they can easily do.

If you've never changed the code or pin the factory pin should be 11111. Or 12345 or last 5 digits of vin. If one of the last 5 #s is 0 use 1 instead.

@@jameskappes9893 nope unfortunally i say get rid of it and buy a newer one. Parts will be more rear than common. Little example Camshaft crankshaft bolts not available, need new ones every camchain tensioner job.(or when you loosen them for what reason so ever) Fuelfilter not available Camplate not available if need new buy a se, s&s or fuehling know the costs Cutsom airfilters only 5 different if you have luck they will fitt or else buy new housing with it. Or go back to stock. Tuning is also not really possible because of the magnetti mirelli. Its very limited.

No, mine did that also and the dealer has to reset it for you as far as I know.

Hey, is it true that if I take my bike to a Harley-Davidson dealer that they can connect my bike to a computer and the pass for the security can be read? I purchased a bike without a key, fob and the pass is unknown. It’s an insurance case. But they don’t tell me or provide any information. Now I am left trying to figure out what I can do to get my bike to start.
