Hi, Jayce OTP here ✌🏻 I absolutely agree with what you said. I'm OTP for multiple years now and when I started playing Jayce, every single one of my friends told me to avoid playing that champ. I was still learning the game basics at that point and "just" liked him in an ARAM. I would never say I regretted my choice. I can't. Because I do consider Jayce the most fun champ in the game by far and the only one who catches my interest for longer than a single game. However, he's terrible for learning the game while simultaneously learning how to play him. It took me three damn years to become decent/good on my champion. Because I spent so much time on Jayce specifically, my climb was honestly terrible, too. It took longer until I could carry properly. It took long af to not do flip plays anymore that cost you the fight and sometimes even the game. It took hella long to understand Jayce's strengths and when to pull off what (at least I THINK I understood by now 😂). When it clicks, it does click heavily. But that will unfortunately take a long, looong time. I watched a ton of people entering the Jayce Mains community on Reddit/discord with both Arcane "waves" and a ton of people asked me for my opinion on if he's worth to put in THAT much effort. My answer is: absolutely. For me, nothing compares to executing sick plays on my amazing main. Prior, I was playing Pantheon for a while and I do believe I don't have to explain how different carrying feels on these two guys. When you become a decent Jayce, you're unstoppable. Your confidence will be skyrocketing. Putting in so much effort to finally FEEL the results is absolutely unmatched. I wouldn't trade this for the world. But the price, yea ... The price is countless hours in practice tool. A stalled climb. Heavy ups and downs. Frustation. Not understanding immediatly where/when you f-ed up sth. Analyzing your plays in detail and learning from every single mistake. Asking others for advice. Maybe (in my case for sure) you even second guess yourself as a player and your skillset regularly. If you are willing to do this, Jayce will heavily pay off for you. I don't regret a single day, not even a single game I played because League for me is indeed tied inevitably with Jayce. The whole fun about the game is Jayce. And I hope everyone experiences something similar.. and if it's with Urgot or sth, at least you don't have to suffer this much on the way 😂

Jayce is not worth it cause you literally cannot do anything against mundo/malphite/cho etc if they have one braincell and it's so fucking frustrating that champs that take no skill can just destroy you so hard(I speak from experience).

Voli main here. You forgot to.mention that you can build everything you want on this champ and this will work. Like for example i go staff of floating water and dawncore - i will have insane E shield and mana regen with a little tankiness for W heal. I can go tank, i can go Crit ( it one taps enemy ADC, played this build recently ) you can go full ap, or ap/ad bruiser, also runes are the same. Lethal tempo, grasp and press the attack are best runes now

Playing singed is like playing different game, if you play singed you don't learn toplane, you learn SINGED and it's literally no upside unless you love him,but k'sante is a lot of control and damage after r, even more damage if you doing forbidden aftershock combo So I just love k'sante that's all

I'd be interested to see a meta-proof tier list. Where champions are not raised or lowered based on the meta at the moment but basically an average of their history in the game and what is good for long-term information. Looking at this, Yorick is a fun looking playstyle and he's not bad at lower tiers but that time invested in learning him doesn't seem worth it considering he becomes so much worse at higher ranks. Maybe I'm mistaken in how I'm interpreting this tier list?

Im 41, Ive never been above Gold(most often S1). But I've only ever support. Hard life. After watching you play Jax a lot I played quite a few games practice with him, went into a game... straight into a platinum Shen main..... I got murdered. (resource management did not join 🤔) Looking to see if I can try an climb a little more this year. I will be honest though, I think the key thing you said is play 100 games + per champ. Because its easy to watch a good pilot(player) play on KZbin and when us average players try it we get ruined and try another champ. Just wanted to share my thought on that

I am also an ancient, so I feel you. I also play support. I am a surprisingly good mid laner considering I literally only get my main role. Max might do you well with a little more work. Not super mechanically intense, but able to put in work all the same. Keep at it and I’m sure you’ll find yourself enjoying things quite a bit.

Would really love to see some more Kayle games from you! I think she's strong right now but your old videos on her are from when you could build some AD and get away with it but that doesn't seem to work anymore (unless you build the chinese builds) so I'm curious how you'd play her in this new season where early aggression is king! I would love to see a Video where you play against Champions that counter your mains (like Riven for example) as a counter pick to those Champs. I am a Riven Otp/Main myself and I started to pick up Aurora because she is the best against most of Rivens Counterpicks and the most fun to play for me. Played a bit of Illaoi, and I've been doing okay on her this season (you rock for putting up the videos that you did about her by the way. Thank you for making that commitment!) I will say I agree though - the cumulative nerfs on her leave her feeling lackluster. In team fights she has no way to engage, and splitting feels a bit more punishing with the teleport changes making it even harder to respond to situations where she's needed for a skirmish. That said, definitely thinking on who to pick up next. Illaoi will always be my pocket pick/main, but I need someone that I feel can more consistently and reliably impact the game.

@@markopeppo u are not alone dude, Zac is 100% not as dominant as he was mid last season. I believe entirely the people at riot games nerf Zac under false impressions as to what he does. To thoroughly understand what champs like Zac do, they must need to play him a fair bit of games, which is something riot employees likely don’t do. The people who cope about Zac are people who literally don’t know what his kit does.

I think olaf top was pretty inflated when he got reworked in s12(?) but the meta changed in the past year and he also got nerfed, especially his mana costs. That impacts his laning so much.

The "We make him a jungler now" did nothing .... he is never played in jgl and the "changes" are straight nerfs for Toplane. His Poke is weaker and his Manacosts are a real big issue nowdays. But whatever i love him so i will stil play my little Axemurdererchamp =D

@KeViNaNoViC i don't think he's super weak but he is definitely not close to how strong he was when he got reworked. His laning has been hit a lot. I am not sad about it because I'm an Urgot otp xD That matchup became much easier after his mana nerfs and cookies not giving mana either. It's actually unreal how much of a difference it made. You just play to drain his mana pool and don't fall for his cheese, swift boots help a lot

I find his playstyle not that difficult to get around to, and his playstyle throughout the game similar to that of aatrox. Is there another point im missing as to why he is is in the avoid category? As a gold 1 player ( low elo ) I kinda agree with the s+ but not with the S teemos in low elo have no idea how to play same with with Kayle a trundle who is in A tier is so much more dangerous cause in low elo you also see the toplaner randomly go to drake if he has no tp and with trundle you just take the complete topside

In high bronze/low silver, and my champ pool was already Garen and Mordekaiser, with a bit of Malphite into certain ranged matchups, or other Malphite counter matchups. Although, Garen's win/pickrate stats seem a bit meh at the moment. Edit: Having already gained a lot of mastery on Garen, and gaining more and more mastery on Mordekaiser I don't know if learning Urgot is really worth it.

I watched Coach Chippy's season 15 wave control guide, at least the portion covering the first 4 waves, as those are the most important, and in Alois' opinion often determine how the rest of the lane is going to go. As mentioned I am currently in low silver, and I think I shouldn't complicate my games, so I try to crash the 2nd wave, into crashing the 4rd wave every game. Warding after crashing wave 2 if I don't have intel on the enemy jungle.

I want to play in some amateur tournaments, so I want to add a 4th pick to my pool. It has to be mechanically simple, and either a tank or a brusier. The picks I am considering are Sett, Urgot or Maokai. The jungler on my team also plays Maokai so it would be a flex pick. Three wave flex if I can convince the support to learn it too.

Been climbing with Tryn and every thing you said about him is so true. If you plan to play Tryn, you need to commit to not being at team fights and pulling pressure off of objectives. He's amazing at sneaking behind to the back line and taking out the ADC. I love him and his sneakiness, especially if you take a side lane and then sneak around to potentially steal an objective.

i didnt play league much before this season so im not that great, but every single time i play i love playing renekton, but i just cant get good with him becuse every single time i get matched up with better and easier champs (garen, darius, teemo, morde...) and it attracts me more and more away from renekton becuse it doesnt feel worth playing when i could play a champ who is a lot easier and i would do more with em so idk if i would still continue playing him

Bruh aint no way you talk about how important stat check, sustain, scaling and split push potentian are and then go on and say you should avoid Quinn. Like bruh Quinn beats almost all champions lvl 1 including super oppressive champs like Darius. She can no joke recall after every single wave so infinite sustain + perma item lead. She can splitpush both side lanes at the same time which no other champ in league can do solo. On top of all that she is top 10 best scaling champs in the entire game. Nothing beats a lvl 18 full build Quinn except maybe tanks which you can jusy ignore as you can basically just run into the backline anyway and sneakily kill one before enemy frontline even notices you.
