now I'm genuinely wondering who would win in a fight between Sonic and Raiden... I'm tempted to say Sonic because in his Super form his power is near limitless, but I don't think Raiden would go down without a struggle

Base sonic versus raiden would have been literally: an unstoppable force versus an unbreakable object. Raiden can withstand a lot and sonic with his boost is way too fast for raiden. (At least I think sonic is). Now I'm also curious xD. How fair is this fight? I will have to check some KZbin videos for answers.

@@scorpaxtm ngl, I love both MGR:R and Sonic but let's be real, Sonic would wipe the floor with Raiden, I mean, Sonic in 06 fought a multi dimensional sun god and it's been canonically stated that Sonic is more powerful now than he was in 06 so uh, yeah, Raiden ain't winning and hell, even if we just limit this to base form Sonic and no Super Sonic, Sonic is still far too fast and durable for Raiden

@@Spinball2006 sonic is the winner, yet his base form is still a mystery to me. In comics, movies, OVAs, cartoons and the anime you get a clear picture of what he can do. But in the games he can survive a fall from multiple kilometres without suffering any damage at all and at the same time in a different cutscene he gets nearly knocked out by getting slammed into a building. I do not deny that he would have won, based on his average performance in the series but if we compare both raiden and base sonic from the video games it wouldn't have been a quick win for sonic. Raiden did stop a building sized sword, so sonic would have to inflict stone big damage. For how long will sonic have to punch raiden for him to get knocked out?

@@scorpaxtm well true, but sonic has destroyed some pretty strong machinery aswell and hell, in his base form was able to defeat Perfect Chaos in Generations, a being so powerful, its referred to as a God Of Destruction, so yeah, my money would still be on Sonic easily

@@scorpaxtm I'll have to disagree just because you all forgot about the all might blue wig that give Raiden infinite reaper mode and he's also have all of his swords and secondary wapones that he can change at any point from fox blade to Murasama blade to the armor breaker and so on so in the end I believe Raiden can take out sonic with out much problem as long the duel takes place on earth because if before doctor made him a cyborg he could lift MG-RAY WHICH WEIGHT OVER 1,000 TONS and toss it like a pillow and stops a submarine with only one hand in MGR4 where his the most weak so I believe that sonic is gonna have a bad time in that duel
