And about the fruit and vegetable sellers, they have very high wastage anyway whether it's the corner shop or Big brands like Reliance. So this way they can waste the produce that's rotten from the inside and give the customers a better experience due to which return business will increase saying "Ye dukhan mei humesha acha maal hii milta hai". This process should be done at the weighing and billing portion of the sale.

I feel it can be a good D2C / B2C product if the price range is within 1K to 1.5K per handheld machine. It can reach a lot of kitchens and households.. However, I feel they couldn't crack the pricing model and that is the only reason they are calling their product B2B. In a shop there are hundreds of KGs of fruits. If they have to do it for each piece of fruit one by one, then they need to keep 3 people doing this job 8 hours a day. That will be an extra cost again. For a B2B model, they need to have a large scanner with a conveyer belt (like airport security checks) and a robotic segregator which will segregate the fruits into 3-4 different categories (good, medium, okay, rotten) with it's robotic arms and put them into respective baskets..
