It's so incredible. This is fairly easy (advanced beginner level) with just a hint of lace! You can leave that section out, though, if you don't feel comfortable with it.
We used a 6-skein kit of our Allure Fingering yarn (100% silk): www.expression...
One version shows Coastal Hues, the other was made in our Find Your Path kit.
•We grow up hearing what our future should be, what path we should take. But, sometimes what is best for others, is not what is best for us. Sometimes, we need to listen to the inner voice that guides us in another direction. Cut out the noise, listen to your soul and find your own path.
•This 6 color shawl is knit on the diagonal using fairly simple, reversible knit and purl stitch combinations. The accent color stripe is worked in a yarn over eyelet pattern that simplifies its design from an ornate diamond pattern into a simple arrow. The Allure silk yarn is wonderful to work with and provides a lovely drape and shine that highlights the stitch patterns.

Hello lovely lady!!! I’m very new to knitting. Love, love, love your videos. Yes, I’m a 🐓 to try silk or anything fingering. So small needles. I’ve tried sock weights. DK or higher is more comfort. Sure, you could try our Alpaca Silk Dk- it has a lovely drape! www.expressionfiberarts.com/categories/dk/alpaca-silk-dk.html You'll want to adjust the cast on stitches and use a larger needle. Just do a few small swatches and measure your stitches per inch. Then you'll know how many stitches to cast on to get your desired width. For the lace part, I would leave that out if you don't feel comfortable adjusting the charts. I would get 5 skeins of the alpaca. I hope that helps!

Hey there Chandi! Any chance there could be a men's sweater pattern released in the future? My husband likes my handmade sweaters and asked if I could make one for him. I know there are thousands of patterns out there but I'd love to see one done specifically with EFA yarn.

Hello Bright Soul! I sure hope you are well these days. If you can, could you make a video for a face mask, nicely tightly knit or crocheted. Others have done it, but cannot do it as beautifully as you do, and you know so many really pretty stitches. Just a thanks and a thought. :-)

Greetings! This is the loveliest shawl i have ever seen! I am disabled in the right hand; i m 61 yrs old and at age 4 I fell on a drinking glass and severed all the tendons and ligaments in my right hand. The medical team saved my hand but my fine motor skills are very limited. I can crochet a bit but knitting is so beautiful... and impossible to do...believe me i have tried. Have you ever sold one of these heirlooms ? I would be most interested if you do sell your pieces. They are simply lovely; as you are!!

I never worked with pure silk yarn, I imagine it doesn’t have any give and can be slippery - are there any tips to working with it?

My best suggestion for working with pure silk yarn is to use bamboo needles. It helps to provide a little more grip. ❤️
