About the virus and protest link, I feel that it can't be discussed without mentioning the widespread use of tear gas (that makes people sneeze and cough) and police tactics, like kettling, that force people closer together. Also, I've seen a vegan activist poster of a cow in a slaughter house saying 'I can't breath' and, um, it'd be nice if prominent vegans spoke out against it.

Also the classic whole wheat bread you buy there.....that ain't bread it is softer than my pillow you can squish the whole thing into a fist sized ball.....that's "toast" if anything (also love how that's healthy bread there like far away from that category here (in Germany))

The Oatly strawberry ice cream works well in ice cream bread recipes. I've made it several times-- just 1 1/2 cup self rising cake flour, 1 pint softened oatly strawberry ice cream, some chopped fresh strawberries (maybe around 7-8 medium strawberries), mix together and bake at 350*F in a parchment lined loaf pan for about 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. I've also thrown in slivered almonds. So good toasted with miyoko's butter on top. Yum yum.

Hun if you're needing OVER 9 HOURS OF SLEEP EVERY NIGHT to get up in the morning, please get a checkup. I'd suggest a full t-panel for thyroid & complete blood count (CBC), check those iron levels & consider asking your doctor to check for ANA or other inflammatory markers that could signal autoimmune disease. You could have a thyroid deficiency & feel much, much better when it's treated. Sleeping over 9 hours really lessens the amount of time you have each day. Getting it to 8hr basically gives you another full workday in the week in terms of time you can spend with your family or pursuing goals, hobbies or whatever

I understand the need to break away from news and current political events sometimes, as an addict to the stuff I do feel it myself pretty often. But, at *such* a time, a vid talking about Breakfasts and computer games is... kinda weird...? Anyway: I Love Oranges. Naturally: I grew up when my HomeTown, Rehovoth, was THE Capital of Citrus, all fully surrounded by the MARVELOUS Citrus-Plants, so OF COURSE I am somewhat "programmed" to Love Oranges, Lemons and so on. :-)) Along with Berries, these are my most favourite Fruits. And I fully identify with the changes in tastes you've mentioned, regarding Coffee and Tea - almost two weeks ago, my taste has drastically changed, too: all my Life I had Loved Sweet stuff, my Coffee I normally sweetened with three tea-spoons of sugar, ate LOTS of the sweetest Chocolates (and "Panda" Chocolate IS the Best), ate Ice-Cream and Belgian Waffles as often as possible... etc. etc. etc. until 12 days ago, my body suddenly screamed "ENOUGH!!" = and this is it: I can hardly THINK of touching most of the stuff I Loved so much, adding only 1~1.5 tea-spoons of sugar to my Coffee etc. - well, I have always known there'll come a time when I'll have to cut that stuff off, just did not expect my body to be so much wiser than I am... ;-)

if one can tolerate wheat, home-made bread is the best and so fun to make. I don't even measure anything, it's just water, salt, wheat flour, half a packet of instant yest, and maybe some oats and a splash or olive oil. Let rise, form a bread, let rise a gain, bake half an hour in a good warmth. (200 C) Delish!

How much choline do you take? I'm female, vegan for about 13 years and lacto-ovo for about 10 before that. Never taken choline, now possibly going to try to get pregnant soon so...

Freeze them (chopped in edible sized pieces) separated on a tray THEN shove them in a bag so they stay separate/not in a big solid piece you have to attack with a chisel 😨

It’s nice seeing a vegan were they don’t see caffeine as the same as crack 😂

it is though :/ You need to fuel your body with food and sleep not drugs like caffeine. Yes its a drug and its addicting. If you relay on it you need to stop

Yuewah did you watch the video? she does fuel her body with food and uses the caffeine as a boost. I’m sure she would love to get lots of sleep but it sounds like her kids are affecting that at the moment

You should try awake caffeinated chocolates. Not all of their products are vegan and some have palm oil but they have vegan caffeinated chocolates and granola bars. Not the healthiest or the cheapest but very yummy.

I have the same thing with bananas... I tried to eat them like Freelee and got soooo burnt out. Now I can only really use them in smoothies... but a raw nana? Probably not gonna go for it.

A few videos ago she mentioned how she started not liking coffee. Even though she loves coffee. A lot of people said that she’s definitely pregnant again (one of the most common first signs is food aversion) but she’s said a couple times now that’s not it, she just doesn’t like the taste of coffee right now for some reason.

@@thefoodkimist i'm sure you've seen her 30+ minute video where she complains about not wanting to talk about BLM... she SHOULD feel guilty. ESPECIALLY when you have a platform where you talk about other human rights issues (like family channels and how it damages children). if she only posted cooking videos then i would be less bothered by it. but even Pick Up Limes who mainly posts food videos had a better response than Unnatural Vegan. yikes. if you can't see the importance of standing with the oppressed right now then you are on the side of the oppressor.
