About the virus and protest link, I feel that it can't be discussed without mentioning the widespread use of tear gas (that makes people sneeze and cough) and police tactics, like kettling, that force people closer together. Also, I've seen a vegan activist poster of a cow in a slaughter house saying 'I can't breath' and, um, it'd be nice if prominent vegans spoke out against it.

The Oatly strawberry ice cream works well in ice cream bread recipes. I've made it several times-- just 1 1/2 cup self rising cake flour, 1 pint softened oatly strawberry ice cream, some chopped fresh strawberries (maybe around 7-8 medium strawberries), mix together and bake at 350*F in a parchment lined loaf pan for about 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. I've also thrown in slivered almonds. So good toasted with miyoko's butter on top. Yum yum.

Hun if you're needing OVER 9 HOURS OF SLEEP EVERY NIGHT to get up in the morning, please get a checkup. I'd suggest a full t-panel for thyroid & complete blood count (CBC), check those iron levels & consider asking your doctor to check for ANA or other inflammatory markers that could signal autoimmune disease. You could have a thyroid deficiency & feel much, much better when it's treated. Sleeping over 9 hours really lessens the amount of time you have each day. Getting it to 8hr basically gives you another full workday in the week in terms of time you can spend with your family or pursuing goals, hobbies or whatever

I understand the need to break away from news and current political events sometimes, as an addict to the stuff I do feel it myself pretty often. But, at *such* a time, a vid talking about Breakfasts and computer games is... kinda weird...? Anyway: I Love Oranges. Naturally: I grew up when my HomeTown, Rehovoth, was THE Capital of Citrus, all fully surrounded by the MARVELOUS Citrus-Plants, so OF COURSE I am somewhat "programmed" to Love Oranges, Lemons and so on. :-)) Along with Berries, these are my most favourite Fruits. And I fully identify with the changes in tastes you've mentioned, regarding Coffee and Tea - almost two weeks ago, my taste has drastically changed, too: all my Life I had Loved Sweet stuff, my Coffee I normally sweetened with three tea-spoons of sugar, ate LOTS of the sweetest Chocolates (and "Panda" Chocolate IS the Best), ate Ice-Cream and Belgian Waffles as often as possible... etc. etc. etc. until 12 days ago, my body suddenly screamed "ENOUGH!!" = and this is it: I can hardly THINK of touching most of the stuff I Loved so much, adding only 1~1.5 tea-spoons of sugar to my Coffee etc. - well, I have always known there'll come a time when I'll have to cut that stuff off, just did not expect my body to be so much wiser than I am... ;-)
