On previous videos you have recommended Naked insurance. Recently bought an SUV and my quote from my original insurance was R1,778.00 p/m with a default excess of R5,500.00. This was not a Fortuner/Everest BTW. This was crazy as I have my license for more than 15 years, have not had a car claim in the last 6 years, and this is not a high risk car. Went to get a quote from Naked insurance, on your recommendation, and they quoted R799 p/m with standard excess of R3,000.00. Went back to my original insurance with the policy and they said they will match Naked's quote but the excess will still be R5,500.00. I though this was insane as I have had a policy with this insurance company for 13 years, and considered them first out of loyalty. They have shown me what loyalty means to them. Needless to say, I switched to Naked Insurance.

Sir Muzi no disrespect to your friend but why did she contact you in the fist place if she knew at the end of the day she was going to buy the Vivo budget be damned? On a side note this just goes to show no matter how pricey or under equipped VW cars are,people will buy them,no matter what,thats some Tesla vibes right there. Objectively her best deal would have been a used Baleno GLX auto,but even that used Vivo,she could have gotten a much better touchscreen in the aftermarket than what VW has and it would be cheaper to replace should the worst happen.
