Finding Angles in a Rectangle | Geometry

We go through several example problems finding unknown angles in rectangles. The key fact we have to remember is that every angle of a rectangle is a right angle - meaning they're 90 degrees! We'll also need to remember that the diagonals of a rectangle bisect each other, that vertical angles are congruent, we'll need the isosceles triangle theorem, and more for the trickier problems! #Geometry

In the first example: how did you determine the first angle to be 42 degrees? And in the second example: ho9w did you determine the 68 degree angle? It seems funny that you start your examples with angles already determined yet provide no explanation how you got these figures (42 and 68 degrees). The same is true of the last example with an angle of 52 degrees. Until these unknowns are explained, these examples are useless to someone who is given a rectangle and asked to find the interior angles. The 101 degrees of two intersecting diagonals of a rectangle was never explained, and it leaves the question: Do all all angles of intersecting diagonals equal 101 and 79 degrees?

I swear better than my teacher So that’s what he do, he would start a lesson where everyone not caring, or at least that’s what he thinks but I do care, and he just let us copy the notes from the slides, and then he read them explain them a little bit not even clear and then he go to the example but ge don’t explain it he just do it and then go to the other one and he asks if we have questions I want to ask but about the whole lesson, he gives us homework every single day, and the equation in the assignment would not be like the examples so I have to figure it out, I swear I like him his nice but it doesn’t work with me he don’t explain anything, I know I said a lot but I was crying because I couldn’t get it and I never was like this I mean I’m good at math like so good 😅 Sorry, and it’s so helpful thnx 🤍
