Bonnie, our daughter caught the stomach flu going around. She then passed it to my husband and I. None of us had a fever, but we all had cruddy stomachs and vomited. It’s just something going around literally everywhere. Fluids, rest, a bucket by the bed, and lots of love got us all over the worst of it so far. I hope everyone is over this mess by now! Don't freak out over the lump. Lymph nodes are in that area. When you catch colds or infections they will swell up. My daughter had the same thing, in the exact same area. I ended up taking her to a specialist only to find out it shrank to a normal size. She was sick prior and got over her cold . Just keep an eye on it. It should reduce in size after the cold and it could take up to a week or so.

It is likely to just be swollen lymph nodes since he’s sick. When I was sick mine were pretty flippin big. I actually check my when I feel ill to pretty much get a sense of how sick I am.
