I think that the darkspawn's red glowing eyes may be due to red lyrium infection. The deep roads are probably filled with the stuff. So far I'm loving this, there's really not much to complain about unless you're someone that's just looking for faults. The fun-factor overshadows any of the minor annoyances.

Ahh yea that makes sense about the red glowing eyes. Honestly, I haven’t really encountered anything that makes me feel this game is terrible. The only issue I’m having right now is my character’s face isn’t hot enough 😂 Everything else is just normal game criticism that I experience in every game I play. There are bits I like, bits I don’t like.

The hair here flows with great power; no need to patch that! But I wouldn’t be mad if BioWare updated a few bits of companion dialogue to be more banter-y. Maybe because I’m early in the game, there’s quite a bit of exposition. Not enough to annoy me though

Ooh. I really like the mage skill tree. Every build is going to be completely different. I can't wait to check out the rogue tree. Episode one: Obsessing over cheek bones ✔ Episode two: Flirting with everyone and rummaging through their belongings ✔ The game is perfect so far! Note to self: Harding DOES NOT like being mothered 🤣

The mage skill tree is huge! And we can respec any time, so I’m excited to mess around with the build once I have enough points going places. Not a single companion’s items is safe 👀 I will have a look at all their things. And flirt with them of course

Companions: nope, u can not use our items :) Even Bellara can not use Harding's bow. Also Bellara mage with bow. After playing Pathfinder as arcane archer I found my soulmate.

I love that Bellara has a bow! She just seems so cool wielding a magic bow. That was my favorite specialisation class in Dragons Dogma 2

I miss my DAI companions so much! Let’s have fun for this one too :)) the combat for this one is definitely much better than Inquisition. So im having a great time

@@heyamarii Oh, I think he's going to die ☠ If I were the writer for this game, I would definitely make his ending as sad and tragic as humanly possible. As much as I love Solas, tragedy would naturally suit his character the most, and and I'm willing to die on that hill. But we'll see. Right now my only goal is to dodge all the spoilers flying around

@ since I chose to be a Crow, I thought it would be cute to romance the Crow. Disappointed as helllll. And then the game crushed me later on and I’m not finishing it 🤣🤣🤣 I was so excited for this game, too

Man its so hard to find accurate reviews on this game online. So many players are just review bombing it out of spite. So far, it hasnt been anywhere near as bad as the reviews online suggest. Im only a few hours into the game and am enjoying it. Not as much as something like DAO but I kept my expectations in check before going into the game so I can enjoy it for what it is and not focus on "what could have been". My main criticism thus far is the lack of solas as the main antagonist lol. Atleast thats the vibe im getting thus far. Ok I also have criticisms about the dialogue but Ill have to go through the rest of the game before making a judgement.

I feel the same way you do, there are just too many reviews out there that seem to have come out of judgement prior to playing. I’m going into this for fun, I’ll have things I don’t like and things I do like - same as many other games. So far, nothing has made me feel like it deserves the hate out there. Is the game perfect? No, but it’s not awful. In fact, I’m having fun. I’m glad you’re not letting the noise get to you and you’re deciding for yourself. Who cares what anyone says online, just have fun!

It would've been great if Ogrhen was in the game. T&A jokes to THIS squad? 😂 Jokes aside and leaving out identity politics, this game feels like it is catering to a younger female crowd. Too light hearted without enough grit and darkness to balance out. The "evil" option for dialogues usually are just Rook being sternly supportive. This game doesnt wanna offend ANYONE.

Ogrhen would have made a great addition though, he would have rubbed everyone the wrong way and then we can see insults flying left and right 😂 I’m not sure if female is the specific market, because even when I was younger, I would have wanted more grit and what would be considered negative characteristics in the companions. I want the companions to have opposing views and disagree or bicker. I think their target market was being family friendly tbh I never pick evil options just because I don’t enjoy rpgs being evil, but the option to be mischievous, show distaste for something, or straight up insult someone who I didn’t like would have been fun.
