"Can you give us a sec?" Was extremely ridiculous audacity. That guy's firing started at that very moment. [UPDATE] I didn't know Anne Hathaway's character here was the boss's wife. I still stand by my original statement. Bad move!

@@VisionClearly He literally asked in a calm manner, and he didn’t just walked in an made it a reservation place to hang out. You don’t fire a guy for doing his job, u fire the fool who gave him access. And right now it was the secretary.

The inflection in can you give us a sec was snarky. I'm sure the reaction would have been different had he told the boss.....sorry? Pi lightly instead and asked if he could have continued. I think fired is exaggerated but the rudeness was indeed there. @@aliyahsulaiman11

@@aliyahsulaiman11 Well he should be fired too when he probably knows it's her office and didn't ask if it was okay with her from the get go. His snarky attitude would be the end of his career at my company. Doesn't matter if I'm not there most days (as I probably have to travel and have meetings), you don't get to reserve my office for a meeting that can be taken in the actual conference room at another time.
@TheLitRight

@@aliyahsulaiman11you fire him for bad business sense. They’re using the boss’s office without the boss’s permission, and are dumb enough to ask her to leave when caught. Not to mention wearing outdoor shoes on a brilliant white rug, showing blatant disrespect for the space, and likely the office owner’s personal property - as such decorations rarely come from the company budget. If he’ll do that to his boss, what would he do to clients?

in an office? that's ridiculous! I understand creating such an environment can relax people; and being comfortable can be good for stimulating ideas. it's the requirement that bothers me. I would _not_ be comfortable, taking off my shoes, in such a public setting. my job requires me to enter people's homes, on a daily basis. many people request that shoes are removed, but there are many problems, with this request. I'm not visiting, for tea; I'm here to do a job. that should be enough of a reason; but I might also have to make many trips, to get supplies, and the on/off process would be tedious!

Most women use two voices, higher and deeper. And while they think the higher voice is "cuter" and they use it with ppl, at work etc, it usually lacks warmth and resonance. The deeper voice, which they use casually, when angry, or at home, has much more color to it.

Lol, I hate when people think that because an actor does a villain really well or a hero it means they are like that in real life. It is sometimes easier to act as someone you despise than to act as yourself when there are cameras on you. As a shy person and awkward goth girl I did better in acting when my role was to be the preppy queen bee who was really mean or really dumb than if I tried to be myself.

I love that nobody here seems to have watched the series but comments like they know their stuff 😂😂 the series is written after a real story. The woman and her boyfriend created an office renting company and marketed it almost like a cult, they faked documents and acted like the company was worth millions more than it actually was and therefore screwed over investors and stuff. This is a scene where she realized that she can't enforce a double standard about her office when their whole company is about sharing office space and energy and stuff
