Best understanding of breathing for singers of any living teacher. It's great to see you still teach with such vigor and energy. I always felt refreshed after a big lesson with you. May God bless you with many more years of teaching! Hugs from Linda and me! ❤

Hello! I'm always very happy when a new video of my vocal guru appears on KZbin. 🌷 Thank you very much, I always find it very helpful and since I've started watching your videos, my singing has improved greatly. I love it how you can show diverse methods and you know perfectly who used them and where they originate from. You're amazing! 💕💕💕 Hugs from Poland 🤗

Very nice. I've been lucky enough to have someone very kind consistently record my singing along with some really good singers, sometimes over instruments and/or a choir. That with your videos has been helping me tremendously. Now every note rings way better and sounds more spacious.

HI Michael, i have learned a lot from your videos. I find it difficult t OK resonate on lower notes though I can get high notes OK and with falsetto. Also the ah vowel I m trying to resonate from low and back like caruso states. Please help

Hi Michael! I have really been enjoying and learning a lot from your videos and have been wanting to ask if there's a possibility to get vocal lessons with you? I'm a fairly new singer since three years that has been taking vocal lessons during that time, getting into all kinds of genres like jazz, musical theatre and more recently, opera. I would love to study with someone so knowledgeble within opera as you. Do you still teach privately? Thanks in advance! Best regards Emelie

Michael, after watching this video I practiced stopping the breath in middle of the mouth. What a profound technique. But how do you negotiate the phonation of the voiceless consonants (h, s, f, etc.) with this approach? I sense too much leakage past the middle of the mouth.

Thank you for your excellent teaching sir. I have one question regarding voice types. I’m a baritone but since I started listening to your videos particularly on deep breathing and the open throat I notice not only an increase in power but also in range, I seem to singer higher register notes with more facility. I’m not an opera singer but I do sing in bars locally, mainly ballads, folk tunes, pop music and sometimes the odd famous Neapolitan air like O Sole Mio. Have you any advice for someone in my position to develop the upper register of the voice without straining the vocal chords? Many thanks for the videos and for your teaching. John.
