This guest shaykh is great. I remember what he said last year from 30 for 30 about putting his daughter to sleep saying Subhanallah and other prayers and that as a result is was building a garden of paradise. I love to ask Allah swt for Jannah, for health, for guidance and for Mercy. Then among these biggies I ask Him to help me find a parking spot for instance! Or anything I need, His Divine guidance is involved in everything indeed. My brother died of Covid in 2021, I had to resolve his complicated matters, that took more than a year but my tears and my duas every night helped push the matters inch by inch until everything was resolved ! I am a grateful slave. Please don’t despair if you find yourself in trouble or difficulty. Take your salat and your dua and the help of Allah swt to success.

Subhanallah what a coincidence, I was just asking myself that question as I was reading the surah today. The answer might be A- It's considered a continuation of Surah Al-Anfal I found that, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, that one time Abdullah ibn Abbas asked Uthman ibn Affaan the reasoning behind putting surah Al- Anfaal alongside Surah At-Tawbah (Bara'ah). Surah Al-Anfaal is a Muthani surah (chapters containing less than 100 verses) and Surah At-Tawbah is a Mi'in surah(chapters with just about one-hundred verses) and why place the two surahs among the Al-Sab‘ Al-Tiwal ( the seven long surahs) and why they placed them together without writing Basmallah between them. At that time, they wouldn't number the verses they'd write Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim between chapters to indicate the start or the end of a surah. Ibn Affaan said that (rephrasing) whenever a revelation was given to the Prophet PBUH, he SAW would tell them how to arrange the verses and what Surah the verse would be in depending on what the surah contains. The order of the verses were not controlled by any of the companions. The two Surahs talk about similar things in aspects of warfare, the behavior of Muslims during times of conflict, and the relationships between Muslims and non-Muslims when it comes to treaties. Surah At-Tawbah was one of the last Surahs revealed to the Prophet PBUH. They were waiting for the Prophet PBUH to tell them whether to merge them or not because the matter of the two surahs were closely alike, and surah Al-Anfaal has less than 100 ayahs. But because the Prophet PBUH passed away before clarifying it, they kept the two surahs separate and among the Al-Sab‘ Al-Tiwal. -Then again someone please correct me even if I've made the slightest mistake.
