Lots of collabs going on at that time, which are awesome, and the previous hike was to the murder grave, so I decided to take a "me" day and chill on House Rock for an hour. And a short time into the hike, I just decided to not speak for a change. Enjoy the break because my next video is Luis and I talking (and avoiding widowmakers!) the whole time 😂🤣

Oh what a tragedy to spill your coffee! But what a beautiful day for filming. The blue of the sky was gorgeous and what awesome colors on those little creatures.

After 4 years or so of making coffee on tilted rocky overlooks and such, I can't believe this was the first batch I lost... Couldn't ruin this beautiful day 👍

😢😅😢 coffee!!! Love that spot there....that crevice you were standing on at 4:15....kind of special...Some of Willie the Wonder Dog's fur is in there....somewhere....he was our Westie. My daughter and doggo were up there maybe 6 weeks ago and spotted a morel between the creek and that cutoff for the Conestoga Trail....it's fun lifting the bark on the dead falls to see what bugs I can find...😄 .... safe journeys!

Oh my, John..... I'm almost afraid to ask, but.... "'was' our Westie"? If so, I am so sorry... I heard a similar story at Barbour Rock at Grand Canyon of PA when we visited. I might go look for morels... I know a certain Wandering Woodsman who has been on their trail...

@@HikerDudeDad Willie was almost 16 when he let us know it was time for him to go in April 2023. I liked going there anyway...good meditation spot...I put some of his fur up there and visit him from time to time.. Hahaha on the Woodsman morel adventures! 😄

@@JohnDillon-s4l Ok, that's a way more peaceful and endearing tale than the Barbour Rock story. That is beautiful.
