On the one hand: it stinks they didn't got a bigger role, because I love the tank gang. This would've been super interesting. But on the other hand: I completely understand why they cut it because it didn't impact much on dory's story. Though I wished the tank gang shows up again.

I loved it when I first saw they planned to do it... Such a big and cool role, especially love Peach and Jacques part! I heard they didn't plan making another movie of this franchise, I hope they would change their mind, the tank gang deserves such moments fully animated

2:40 Nemo and the Tank Gang reuniting is precious! And Nemo excitedly asking Gill and the gang about their adventures. He's just a rambunctious kid and I love it!

Dream crusher!! Hoo haa haa!! Also, I'm sure there could have been another way for the tank gang to be featured. Check it, Marlin and Nemo are outside the institute, Marlin blames himself for driving Dory away, just then Nigel the pelican from the first movie flies in carrying the tank gang and is exhausted because they were trying to loose the seagulls after Nigel helped them out of the bags. He lets them out of his pouch as he's the first to notice Marlin and an alive Nemo, being relieved they're ok and reunited, the gang then drops into the ocean meeting marlin properly. Nemo explains Dory is taken in the institute, so they offer their assistance in helping Dory break out, Nigel gets them all over and head to where Dory may be taken specifically. I don't know where else it would go but hey, what do you think?

I hope we are gonna get another movie or maybe some sort of series about Nemo and friends which takes place after these two movies and Tank gang reunites with Nemo. It bothers me that altought Gill said that Nemo will be fine, i still want that they all could be 100% sure of that. And they could also move to same reef where Nemo and others live.

I also think that i found a plot hole that would have saved lot of time to Tank gang to got free. Dentist's office seems to be empty at night as we see in Nemo's baptism as a new member of the Tank gang. So Nigel could just become middle of night when no one is watching them and carry them on his beak to the ocean and even if window was locked, Nigel could probably get help from his other pelican friends to broke it and even if alarm would start, Nigel would have lot of time to escape with them. And if that would have been their plan, Nemo would have never had to leave Tank gand behind, altought i belive that they did reunite some time after Finding Dory.
