Finding Good Cheap Fragrances At The Rack Stores Right Now?!

I’m proud to say I’ve began my frag journey in about August, and since that I’ve gotten around 20 Fragrences, most of which are from my local Rack Stores. My favorite finds include Paco Rabanne Phantom Legion Edition for 59.99, Dolce&Gabanna K EDP for 55.99, Missoni Wave for 29.99, MontBlanc StarWalker Extreme for 24.99, and BR Tobacco&Tonka Bean for 15.99. I found a 100ml special edition (camo bottle) Phantom at Ross about a month ago for $64. It's those finds that keep me taking a few minutes to pop in and see what can be found.

Same experience as me lately. I travel a lot for work and always dig in to the rack stores in the different areas I'm traveling to. Seems like just about everywhere the rack stores are empty or just filled with the ultra cheapies.

Dude I moved to coastal MS from Philly a couple years ago and the rack stores in Gulfport are barren. I didn't get into frags until I moved down here so when I went home for a few days and saw how stocked the shelves were I was so mad I didn't start collecting while I still lived there. Maybe I gotta start driving to Biloxi or Louisiana

A week ago, I purchased that Kenneth Cole Black Bold based on quite a few good customer reviews. It was a whopping $6.99, but I haven't gotten around to opening it. I'll let you know what I think after I try it. It was interesting seeing the Halston box, since I have a vintage splash bottle of Halston Z-14. I purchased it in 1983 when I was 22. After 40 years it still smells great. 😊

I do a Burlington run yesterday and found slate Arctic by banana republic! I guess it’s a newer drop and it’s great. Smells like a nice y mixed with Invictus scent. Better quality than the dupe companies. And it’s an edp. No notes on fragrantica yet tho..

Found some new banana republic fragrances at Burlington on Friday. They’re not bad. Good for the price. They’re back to $20 a piece I think. I’ve noticed that certain days of the week are better than others. Friday late mornings are about the best bet on these things, I’ve noticed. Friday late morning or Thursday early afternoon.

6 rack stores within a 2 mile drive of my house and that’s about the number of products they each have…6. Except Nordstrom Rack stepped it up for a couple weeks. I got LeMale edt for $32. And they had Spicebomb Infrared and Night vision for good price. Also Chrome and Extreme. Oh and Ralphs club gift boxes for $49.

My local Marshalls just recently has stocked Versace's Man Eau Fraiche, right after I paid retail for it too. Needless to say, I was salty. I did pick up Mercedes-Benz' Eau de Toilette at my local Ross though 2 days ago. I'm happy with that purchase atleast.

It's basically the same at my rack stores. If they have anything decent, more than likely you've got it. I haven't had a good find at a rack store since I picked up Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan back in 2021 for $29.99. Kicking myself I didn't buy the other Serge Lutens bottles they had - La Fille de Berlin and La Couche Du Diable.

KC Black Bold is a really solid cheapie…. Very fresh… with some incense / suede backbone… It is a great cheapie and worth the $20-$25

You know who actually has some really good fragrances at a reasonable price? Bath and Body Works. They have some excellent choices. I love their cologne Ocean. It’s fantastic. If you haven’t already, you should check it out!
