I've found all your videos super helpful and clear thus far but this one really started confusing me so I had to stop it. Might've been the extra step you put in with mL -> L as I always found it simple enough to do in your head or off to the side and switching the division symbol to multiples. It's probably just me and getting confused easily cuz I went about answering those types of questions in a slightly different way. I really liked the analogy of the iced tea though, that makes what's what really easy to remember. Thank you for all your hard work and passion :)

Hi Melissa, I’m a new subscriber. I was hoping you could do a video that will help me reconcile AMU and grams/mole. I understand the atomic mass on the periodic table indicates the grams for 1x mole of atoms for a given element. I also know we can calculate the ‘weight’ of an Atomic Mass Unit (AMU) by dividing the atomic mass indicated on the periodic table by Avogadro’s number, then again by the atomic number to get the weight of a single AMU in grams. So why does it seem we use AMU and g/mol interchangeably? And how exactly did Avogadro know there were 6.022x10ˆ23 atoms per mole? Thanks and keep up the great work!

How many grams of K2SO4 (MW = 174.0 g/mol) are contained in 50.0 mL of 0.200 N solution? is N different with the M? or I can still solve with the same method mentioned on your lecture? If not, how will I solve this? Thankyou I hope you'll notice me

So I found this really hard to follow personally. What helped me is first by getting the mass of glucose (180.16) you will need that later. You find that by doing the empirical formula and just adding everything together. (c6h1206= 6X12.011(carbon) 12X1.008 (hydrogen) and 6X15.999(oxygen)... once you get that you just plus in the numbers. My question was: What is the mass (in g) of the solute in L of glucose, CHO?.... you do 0.545L multiply by (0.58M/1L) times (180.16/1mol) and that's how you get your answer.

I'm confused. How did you get 14.9 grams KCL???? I multiplied everything on top and it gave me 14,910.
