SUBHANALLAH! I LOVE YOUR Story. Al Hamdolilah! I'am African-American Muslim REVERT since 1991. My story is interesting too, and I'am now married to an Indonesian MUSLIMAH from Manado and while I was there from September 2013 - July 2017, I was telling my story as they kept asking me how I came into Islam, before that like you I was Christian too.

I think only revert can understand this " reborn feelings" in my opinion. However some people who born muslim can feel clean when they really enjoy Ramadan and do a lot of good stuff.
