My daughter has just moved to Provence and opened a fish restaurant just outside Arles specializing in bouillabaisse. I visited her a couple of weeks ago and Provence is indeed beautiful. So many fantastic little towns and villages, so much history, so much natural beauty and the food and wine is amazing.

I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your video, and I appreciate the effort you put into creating content for your viewers. I understand how tough it can be to come up with new ideas, but I think your audience would love to see more content on day trips to other towns and villages around Aix-en-Provence. Maybe by taking public transportation to explore these areas or providing the information for visitors to do the same? It would not only provide viewers with valuable information about transportation options, but also give us a glimpse into the culture and beauty of other nearby locations. I hope this idea helps to inspire you in your future content creation, and I look forward to seeing more of your videos 😊

Yes, I think you have a very good idea of covering small villages, not done by other KZbinrs. All are probably very charming and even one small restaurant could make for a few good hours. We'll soon be in Paris for a week, then Provence for 5 days. As I research Provence, I'm seeing that it will also not be my last visit to Provence. Love your peaceful voice and delivery, very sincere, and thank You for the time it must take for the Photography and Music. Good luck with this Channel.

Small villages all have their special blossoms wraped around the native stone. Its the people that make Provence. The native people and the others, from all over the world have stories to tell. Amazing tales of how, why and when they came to Provence. Yes artists but all manner of creative and well grounded people full of positivity, joie de vire and subtle enthusiasm for a place and a lifestyle almost unequalled in the world. Connect with some of those people. Show us some of their stories, some of their creative output. Whatever you do, enjoy it. Michael

I enjoyed this video immensely! Really interesting to see the characteristics and beauty of the buildings which reflect the French culture and the nature surrounding. Every creative person has periods of time when they feel the need to regenerate. Your spontaneity created this video naturally. Maybe that is the way to go right now. Celebrate your spontaneity!

This video is soooo relaxing. I’m reminded of how I reacted during my trip to Provence in 2011. I love the background music! And your reaction to the church bell reminds me of how I had that same reaction. I loved Aix-en-Provence like no other. I enjoyed how you compared animals from France compared to the ones in LA! I am originally from LA area too. Your voice is so relaxing too! I felt as if I was in Provence!

What a lovely video, Sam! Such a beautiful village! Such a special glimpse into a village that is untouched by tourism…just normal, quiet and serene living. Inspiration is everywhere and I say that as a fellow creative. You only need to open your eye and it’s there so, it’s good that you just step outside to get your creative mojo back! I would love to see more of the small, quaint villages of Provence. I dream of living one day in the Italian countryside, but your life in France is quite dreamy too! So more, PLEASE!! ❤❤

Another lovely video Sam! I always love your visits of villages, it is so beautifully filmed I could watch for hours! As for creative blocks, I would feel stressed if I’d have to create a proper topic video, I just document my life and often think people will find it boring but it is what my intention was with my channel: sharing the beauty of life and the beauty in simple things. It helps me to stay true to my intention and not think too much about what a video needs to be about. So my question would be: what do you most like to create content on? What is your intention with your channel? And follow that. Maybe that brings new inspiration? Happy birthday! ❤

:) Nice and relaxed. That's all you need. No need to stress. I personally don't enjoy when people ask viewers what do they want to watch. I understand that you might have some block from time to time, but try not to stress about it. Just because you are there already 3 years,it doesn't mean everyone who's watching you is in the same shoes. The majority are not. So anything and everything from life could be interesting to show. In your own way, with your own energy and thoughts as usual. You are so kind and friendly, soft and gentle, you don't have to become something different just to please viewers. I agree with someone who said, just be you. Capture what you feel in the moment or the day,the mood, anything. At least you will stay true to yourself. Because frankly, already millions of videos are available for all of us. That't the reality. You are not going to discover something super new let's be honest between us. So what its making a difference its simply you. Paul is a local. I like him too very much. Such a bright and positive and supportive guy. Whatever you decide to film, etc.,just stay yourself. Release your blocks. Its so beautiful where you are. Amazing. I know you are grateful in your soul about it. We can see and feel it. Will be around there soon too. Relax, breath, enjoy, soak sunshine and just smile, dear Sam. Thank you for the lovely video and the beauty in it. ☀️🤍

Hi Sam I have some ideas for you. Call your series "undiscovered small villages of Provence' When you visit a place put the name on the screen, maybe a map showing where it is. How far is it from Aix or Marseilles. Now, for the most important part. Tell us why we should visit. Learn about the history of the place and tell us a bit. Tell us some practical stuff as well, like parking or public transport. Did anyone famous live there or go there? If there is a restaurant, even if it's expensive, tell us about it. Who is the chef? What do they serve. Is it local cuisine? Organic, etc. Is it a unique experience? Michelin star? Do they have a vegan selection? To put it simply, make us want to go there, even if we can't. Engage us in the experience. Make us feel a part of it. Make the videos as if you are telling a story to someone. In your own way of course. Even though it's a video, your words are just as important. I do like your videos but I believe they can be so much more informative and engaging just by thinking about them first. It may feel unnatural at first and you may think it's too scripted, but it will become more natural in time as you do it more. Some of the best KZbinrs out there work like this. Think of it like a job and treat it like one. This is still being creative. Artist always think about their art before doing it. Not sure if this has helped but it's just a suggestion and my perspective.

As someone who would like buy a place in Aix, Avignon or one of the surrounding villages, it would be great to show some available apartments for sale . I try and search for some, but there doesn’t appear to be an MLS like here in the U.S…. Reasonable places, not million dollar homes…. Thx

A small point offered as constructive criticism. Your accent and pronunciation makes it very difficult for European or francophone viewers to realise the villages that you are visting or talking about A quick visual of the villlage sign or just posting the name to screen will save lots of time serching for an unrecognisable name. Best wishes, Michael

😂😂😂 Yes, I know I don’t pronounce them correctly. I usually put them in text but this video I didn’t. I do have it listed in the description though. This village is Ventabren. Thank you for the tip.
