I saw this thing on social media today that compared this pandemic new way of normal to a storm. I get that analogy in the sense that most days it feels like we’re all kind of along for the ride. This time is being described as a dark time, a scary time, an uncertain time and many of us feel tossed around by everything that’s happening and is outside of our control. I don’t like feeling tossed about or directionless, and lately I’m finding hope and purpose in the reminder that someday soon this storm will pass. The sun will rise on a new day and we’ll all be able to step outside of our houses again and move about in the world once more. I’m processing though, what I can do now to ensure that when that day comes, the best parts of our world and our communities are in tact, that our small businesses are thriving, our neighborhoods are flourishing, our most vulnerable neighbors are protected and cared for. I’m taking cues from some local world changers that I know, to find ways that even in this dark time, we can find and share light with each other.
One person who’s doing that in a big way is our friend Kaden and his Jedi team at Rebel Cause. They’re using their passion and influence to make an impact providing food, shelter, community and support where it’s needed most.

This video deserves more views! This is so important for everyone to be aware. Many people are complaining about their inconveniences because of the virus but people are having a real struggle that no one is seeing and we need to stand up together and do something about it. Amazing and inspirering video! I also love the star wars rebels series💖
