Actually, I am disappointed that there wasn't that much conviction. This performance is extremely unsatisfactory and unfit for debut. Vocals: they're not at all special in any way; they have no unique color. They all sound like your typical rookie sub-vocal: squeaky, and unrefined. Without the track, their vocals are most likely unstable, because they look like they're struggling to get them out. Dancing: if you look past the camera work, you can see that they're off sync with each other and don't look like they're working as one group. You can see from the very beginning that while the center is executing the choreo, she ends up looking awkward (but it wasn't just her, she was just more noticeable as the center role; most of them cannot perform the choreography smoothly). The positions were EXTREMELY messy. Also in my honest opinion, they failed SNSD's choreography, which is actually quite simple compared to the average rookie groups you see on stage in music shows. They aren't in sync, their formation is weird, their energy levels are over the place, and the vocals and dancing in general are super basic. They seem like a bunch of people who met for the first time and were told to perform together.

They're putting too much effort into their energy and their hair keeps covering their faces. The best, if not the ONLY visual is Nancy (the girl with the K on her top) but even a great visual is no good with a bad history (shown here: twitter.com/ournancy/status/756570072936771584 ), and it's too bad because she's only 17 and she already has things to apologize for, making her a problematic figure for people to pick on. I'm saying this because I know she'll be this show's "main character" (if she isn't already) like IOI's Somi with Produce 101, for example. Anyways, I wrote this based on what I saw. Don't come for me saying that they're only trainees and their skills are still inefficient, because Duble Kick put these girls on a show because they needed them to grab some public coverage. These girls are out in the world and the public has the freedom the criticize them. I believe you absolutely cannot get better without constant practice and criticism so that you can improve.

This is one of my fave SNSD songs and I love when other groups try to cover it but this was poorly done. The dancing was weak and the girl they chose to be the center messed up the choreography several times. The singing was also bad. There are 10 girls on stage singing so I don't think they needed a background track... it made the entire thing sound messy.

I couldn't see any signs of them being sloppy in performances anymore. They're so different and much improved now than in the past. And Bboom Bboom has been a successful hit, considered one of the bops of KPOP in the first quarter of 2018. Though, they still need a room for improvement if they want to maintain their momentum. They should exert more effort, especially now, because they're slowly becoming rising stars. And being a star isn't only about visuals and charisma, but also needs to be equipped with talent. But visuals, check, charisma, check, though, they should work on their skills and abilities, still they're doing a great job and are slowly climbing onto the top. And I'm proud of them for having been this far.

Because this song is messy, it's very experimental, it switched genres, it jumped in between chords without proper transition, it doesn't even have melody by instruments up until the first dance break, it's all "pa pa pa" and base and rhythm repeat in the background and SNSD's voices was only melody on top. Then the beat per minutes changed abruptly, it was like SM trying to push out the most experimental sounds (of that period) and it was success because it was SNSD's name, if anybody else sing this song then, it'd fail. Hence Momoland is messy, cuz anybody tryna sing this song would be messy, SNSD did the best because they practiced this song a lot but even they themselves cannot do it live. Also nobody can replace Sica's part, cuz that added distinct color to this song. 8-members SNSD also cannot repeat this song as good as it was with full SNSD

The girls who did Hyo's rap and did Taeyeon's part in the last chorus is pretty good. I just wish they'd make this more upbeat. It feels like they just learnt the dance and did adding more energy and a little bit of personality would've gone a long way.
