Fun little fact, in case no one has mentioned it already: "Bruce" the shark, was the name of the shark in the movie "Jaws". Well, that is what the filming crew named the mechanical shark. The fact that the shark in this movie is called "bruce" is a nod to "Jaws".

When I was a kid I couldn't understand how deep is the meaning of this movie. And now here I am, crying over a reaction, but able to see the "Over protective father with a lost son with a disability" plot. And of course, finding another "person" with a disability to help him. The worst thing is this movie was supposed to teach people to respect the marine life and Great Barrier Reef more but after this movie released not only did people start stealing more fish (particularly clown fish) but actually made kids believe flushing fish down the toilet meant that would put them in the ocean.

My older sister's kiddos love this place in Disneyland and I went out of my way to make sure they saw one of the fireworks shows during Christmas I'm in one of the commercials and one of the funny part is I was so lit up with lights because I was so over-the-top I look like a Lite-Brite because dressed up like Stitch from Lilo & Stitch with light switch is cracking up everybody_ it's my favorite Disney movie besides 101 Dalmatians_ Lilo and Stitch the alien dog

I really enjoyed Nemo when it came out. Back then I was so fascinated by the natural world especially life in the oceans. As a wildlife enthusiast I give Disney credit for making such iconic characters out of real animals which are now under threat.
