It there anything that can be done to replace eye injections to deliver anti-VEGF medications? I know it is a matter of time before I may have to have these injections. I do not want to have a needle stuck into my eye. I have heard all the folks who say it does not hurt - blah, blah, blah - but I am concerned about complications and the possibility that the injections may lead to glaucoma.

I didn't understand what the treatment actually consists of ? I wasn't clear to me at all actually, even though toward the end there is this evocation of the relief people feel when some of the vision loss from wet AMD is remedied. I'm asking because my father (born 1958) has had wet AMD for nearly two decades and is now legally blind and cannot drive. He is otherwise in good shape.
