I don't know what the previous commenter said that got you upset. Hopefully it wasn't mean,... But everybody has a right to an opinion. It does not mean that you're being mean. Like I personally don't believe you ask a child what they're going to eat for dinner. You eat what the mom and dad put on the table. Now,.. If ivy doesn't like a certain thing then you wouldn't make that certain thing. But you don't get a special meal or something made,.. That's just for you. You eat what the mom and dad put on the table. Like you wouldn't ask a child What time Do you want to go to bed,... You give them the bedtime. You don't say, Do you want to drink soda all day long? You don't ask them, you guide them. The Bible says train up a child in the way that they should go. So when they're older they won't depart from that. But I really wish you would have said what the previous commenter said. Maybe it was taken down. I don't know. Just saying that everybody has a right to an opinion,.. And I love the Cordle family. That doesn't mean I agree with everything they do and some things are just plain out wrong. You don't teach a child that it's up to them what they do, how they do it when they do it. Try putting your bagged potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions in one layer in cardboard boxes or paper bags. Your potatoes smelled bad because they were rotting. They also sell frozen mashed potatoes at the grocery store or keeping some canned potatoes on hand in you pantry helps too(add to your crockpot with your roast half way through the cooking time, since they are cooked already, but you want them to get heated through and flavored from the sauce). That roast looked awesome!😊❤

Have you noticed that your potatoes taste sweet? Refrigerating the potatoes concentrates the starch, when mashing them they can come out gloopy. Try putting in your pantry away from sunlight in one layer in a cardboard box or a paper bag.😊

@@carolynturk-hu7je That's strange, I've never had that issue. My mother did it for years and so I've done the same, mashed potatoes come out perfect every time! Maybe that issue occurs for others due to the humidity control most fridges come with that in the veggie drawers!! Mine is set to low humidity!! Maybe that will help! 😊👍

@@lindsay247 Years ago, my Great-Aunt used to keep them in the fridge. That is where I have eaten the gloopy mashed potatoes(before fridges had all the bells and whistles they do today). Thanks for the tip though. I am good with the paper bag method, it has served me well my entire life. We grew potatoes(lived in the country, so could not always pop out to the grocery store). Was great to have veggies to last all winter long. Canned and froze veggies too. Those were the days.😊

Ivey is no longer a toddler, because she has turned 3 & is stable on her feet. I have corrected you multiple times on this & you still refuse to get it right, which is lame, stupid, & ridiculous. Not sure if this is just an attempt to gain sympathy or what, but you are lying, which is a sin, every time you say she is a toddler. Toddler: 1 to 3. Preschooler: 3 to 5. Grow up. Get it right.
