My boyfriend sister-in-law just found out she's two months pregnant with her third. She conceived five months after having the second. She found out she was pregnant the day before her appointment to schedule a time to get her tubes tied. They just bought a three-bedroom house so each kid had their own since they weren't planning to have anymore. Now they're going to have to plan an extension in the future because they still want to give their kids the opportunity to have their own rooms. (Girl 4, Girl 7months, and 2months pregnant)

She had to have an emergency c-section to deliver her triplets (pre-term) - and because it was such a complicated birth, they told her she wouldn't likely be able to have any more kids. Fast forward 5 yrs later she had an appointment scheduled to get her tubes tied (just in case) since they had a 6 (almost 7) Yr old son and 3 5yr old girls, and when they did her blood work, they were like, well, surprise. Congrats :)? They now have an 8yr son, 3 6yr old girls, & 4 1yr olds (3 boys 1 girl). But this time they're definitely closed for business 🙈

For our second child (who was not expected) my wife woke me up at 6am on a Saturday and was panicked saying, the test is positive. MY foggy mind took one look at the test, took it in and was like 'oh...okay.' and went back to sleep. She shakes me saying, 'What are we going to do?!?' Calmly half-asleep I was like 'Have a baby, its cool.'

With my first i went to the ER because I have having a horrible migraine. They didn’t do a pregnancy test not even ask me when was my last period. They gave me medication for my migraine and it knocked me out. When I woke up I was at home lol. But something still left off and I took a pregnancy test at 4 am. The two lines showed up so fast. I woke up my husband and told him I was pregnant he told me “and” and went back to sleep after a few minutes he woke up and said “ I had a dream you were pregnant” 😂😂 I threw the test at him and told him I was and to look. 😂

I know. I saw Abby in a video read on planned parenthood that you don’t ovulate while breastfeeding. Which isn’t true. And a lot of women think that since they aren’t getting their period that they aren’t ovulating and can’t get pregnant. Then they don’t use condoms either and end up pregnant. But even if I just had a kid. No period. We’d be using both types of birth control. So Abby thought she couldn’t get pregnant while breastfeeding and they didn’t use protection. It was a mistake/bad decision on their part. But I just hope they learn this time after their 2nd kid. Cause it’s very bad for the female body to get pregnant again that quick after just having a baby. It’s important to wait at least a year for the body to recover. And also you are the most fertile after having a baby. A lot of people don’t know this or some don’t care. But I hope her and the baby end up healthy! ❤️

I really don’t understand how couples don’t use protection, or pressume they can’t get pregnant due to breast feeding or because they didn’t have a a period, when they’ve given birth a few weeks / months ago. If you watch the whole thing they explain that they know it isn't a reliable contraception, and that they did use condoms and there was 3 incidences in which they didn't. Abby also says she didn't want an iud again (she had one before Griffin, didn't want another one), and that she didnt want to be on hormonal birth control because the hormones change during pregnancy and after pregnancy. No hate just letting you know what they said in the full video.

My boys are also 14 month apart and I promise you’re going to LOVE his age gap! My boys are 5&6 now and I liked the age gap so much I’m doing it again lol. Griffey won’t be developmentally old enough to get jealous so between that and your incredible parenting, no matter how different they are they will be so close. Half my pics on my phone are of my boys cuddling. YES they will cry at the same time, but not as often as you fear. YES they will fight, but who doesn’t? It really felt like having all the best parts of twins without the hardest parts (birthing, breastfeeding two babies at a time, etc)

My third baby was unplanned I was on birth control but got a antibiotic from the denist that counteracted with the bc. I already had a 3 year old and a 1 year old so to say I was shocked is a understatement lol me and my husband cried that first day but then we decided we would make it work. I did find out early I was like 8weeks I didn’t have my period but I thought it was because of the birth control but I noticed I was super emotional which wasn’t like me. That was the only reason I even took a test

The only antibiotic that interferes with birth control is rifampicin, which is used primarily to treat tuberculosis and leprosy. Those diseases are basically unheard of in the developed world. She actually needed a gap between the pregnancies. She had a hernia surgery as well as her body is returning back to all the changes it did in the 9 months and getting pregnant again. There's a reason the doctors ask to have at least 3 years gap between pregnancies. The mother physically becomes weak otherwise.

I don't know why anybody else isn't saying you still can choose whether this is what you want and it's not wrong to choose not to. Your body is probably going to be deficient of nutrients and physically it is not recommended to do this so close together, you should be letting yourself heal. You could lose teeth. I am mother of 5. I was only 2 months postpartum with #3 when I became pregnant for #4 they are a year and 16 days apart in age. 8 months later I started feeling very sick and no food could get in my mouth fast enough to beat the nausea. I realized that I was pregnant with #5. Dealing with pregnancy again before the girls were 1 and 2 was overwhelming. It was very hard when they were little but now they are 11 about to be 12, 13 and 14. We actually are glad they are all grouped together and had playmates as they were growing up. I had 8 years between child #2 and #3, so I did follow natural ways of preventing pregnancy. I did not have more children because I got a tubal ligation in 2011 after my last child was born and I had been on bed rest because of health complications during pregnancy. By the way it is very rude of you to make such judgemental comments. Next time maybe you should just keep on reading and keep your personal opinions to yourself. I am a 46 year old woman and have tried a lot of different birth control choices, none worked well for my body, no matter how they worked for yours. Yes, you are. Having them back to back can be really damaging to your body. You need at least a year to fully heal. It takes at least a year for your hormones to settle back to normal also. I’m almost ten months in and I’m just now starting to feel somewhat okay but I still have no control of my emotions🥴 I am not getting pregnant until my daughter is two years old because I’m not doing the two under two crap💀💀 they’re gonna have their hands full that’s for sure. My ob even told me “just because you’re breastfeeding make sure you use are protected because it’s not a birth control and you can still get pregnant”. I even knew that I was most fertile after giving birth because I did my research.

Abby and Matt it will be so worth it. They will always have a play mate. I spaced my kids out. However we spend every weekend together. They Love each other respect, each other and would do anything for each Other. We got married at 18 and 19. Our oldest just turned 37 our middle is 34 youngest is 27. 2 boys and a girl. I have Mark Matt and Amanda. We have 5 Beautiful granddaughters and nothing has brought me more joy. We have been married for 38 years that sounds so strange to say it out loud. I’m so happy for you both. I never thought they would be so close and bring my husband and I even closer. Here’s the advice my husband gives… it’s not going to be 50/50 sometimes it could be 80/20. Because I too have had some serious surgeries. So imagine like Matt does when you need help he’s always there. I literally married my Best friend, never thought that would happen. Don’t let anyone decide what is wrong or right. You both really know. I live in Az as well. My life is complete. Of course we bicker but in the end of the day I’m happy to be bickering with him. Our son was 5 mos old. When we found out we were pregnant again. I was already a month along lol. No regrets, I love having them so close in age. Fights can be horrendous though, so watch out for that.

I’m not being funny, but only in America would someone think that breast feeding would act as contraception…however, everything happens for a reason and I’m sure you’ll do great, it’s scary when things happen unexpectedly, but at the end of the day, the baby is just more joy entering your home ❤ Take it easy, it’s ok to feel anxious, and having doubts is normal, just don’t let it consume you, you did amazing the first, and you’ll do just as amazing the second time around! Well, I got pregnant 14 months postpartum and I wanted to die! I was really hoping to give them 2 years plus gap but I was so devastated when I found out. My husband was really helpful during my devastated period that lasted until I got to accept the fact that I was actually pregnant, lol. And God so good, I got a baby girl . I was so grateful to God cos my first is a boy.. They're 23months apart, still 3 and 1 year olds and I'm so looking forward to them growing up from this stage cos it's not been easy🤭. And I just tell people they're 2 years apart, what's the difference anyway 😁

I literally was in denial for so long after I got pregnant again 2-3 months after my daughter, I’d never had regular periods so I went 21 weeks without realizing something was off and it was my hubby who made me take the test! He just knew! 😂😂

Lol my pregnancy tests told me no. But my doctor told me to come in. Their pregnancy test said yes. I am right at the end of being able to call my babies Irish twins. Scared but excited. I’m 35 now at 24 I had my first and at 25 had my 2nd my daughters are 11 and 10 years old 11 months apart! Was it hard heck yes but love the closeness it did scare me had my 3rd 2 years ago! I’m done ✅😂

My oldest two are over two years apart and that was stressful even with the gap. I was breast-feeding my oldest and she was having problems feeding because she could smell my hormones from my pregnancy and it lead to a world of stress and chaos in both my life and her life and caused a lot of problems with my pregnancy, so I really hope everything turns out well for you.

My older brother and I have a 12month and 5 days age gap and my younger brother and I have a 16month and 6days age gap and now we're 19, 18, and 17 year old respectively and I wouldn't change it for the world. Sure we grew up with little fights here and there but we who doesn't. Our bond is not like any other siblings. We just know we were born for this. We get mistaken for triplets a lot. They're gonna be the best of friends.

It was very difficult on parents to have kids so close together, my brother was very jealous and so my father never interacted with me cause he was so possessive of him... my brother used to bully me apparently, I was too chill to care but I do remember him cutting a piece of my finger off and me bleeding everywhere....
