That dark of a test happens when your levels are very high. I've taken SO many when pregnant because I've had several miscarriages (just went through one, sadly, after over 2 years of TTC and dealing with our own continuing infertility struggle), so I always like to take the tests until they are so dark that the control line is barely there when I'm pregnant. It just makes me feel better. Congrats!!!

I feel like it may be twins again! I’ve never had tests dark like that until I was about 12 weeks pregnant. The test line is taking all the dye from the control line which means her hcg level is SUPER high

Omg I’m so shocked and so happy for you guys. I’m 56 And due to PCOS and endometriosis was told I would never fall pregnant. I hadn’t had a period for over 2 years with numerous surgeries. Then on my 30th birthday I got plastered and decided to buy some Alpacas if I couldn’t have children. I was devastated. Then a few weeks later couldn’t stop throwing up all day long. Finally had severe pain in my side went to the hospital they thought I had an eptopic pregnancy but I was 12 weeks pregnant !! Like you Rachelle I didn’t believe it then I saw the ultrasound it was the most amazing gift I could ever ask for. I only put on 1 kilo the whole pregnancy as I was so sick but had a healthy little girl. She’s now 25 and the light of my life. Congratulations! We had been trying for over 2 years to conceive with no luck and unexplained infertility. We had also totally given up hope of conceiving naturally and were making other plans. I booked IVF as they told us that was the next step for us. 5 days after that (2 weeks before our first appointment) I found out I was pregnant. That was back in September, I’m not 17 weeks! I’ve followed you on and off since you were pregnant with Emma and so happy for you. I feel the same way, it’s a miracle and I still don’t believe it now despite two scans and hearing heartbeat! Such a relief to not have to go through IVF. My scan to determine sex is on Christmas Eve ☺️ I’m so excited.

I am so happy for you guys! This miracle could not have happened to a more deserving family. I think this baby was hand picked by your beautiful daughter in heaven, and sent down to earth to complete your family. Rachelle, I can totally relate to the shock when you saw the pregnacy line on the test. When I was 18, I was told there was no chance that I would ever have a baby, due to some serious reproductive health issues. My periods were never regular, so I never thought in a million years that I could be pregnant. However, several years later, I too got my miracle baby and he was born on Christmas Eve in the year 2000. The only reason I took a pregnancy test, was because I spent months of trying to fight a flu I couldn't shake, and I was having to go to the bathroom every 10 minutes. My mom suggested I take a test and that maybe I was pregnant. To make my mom happy, I did take a test, and that pregnant line came up in seconds! I was so shocked and was sure it was wrong. After an ultrasound indeed confirmed I was pregnant, I was even more shocked to find out I was already 3 months pregnant. I had a 9 day period the month before I took the test, but apparently that can happen sometimes. I remained shocked, right up until I held my sweet baby in my arms. Nathaniel turns 21 this year and I cannot imagine my life without him. He has been such a blessing to both my husband and I. I just know this baby is going to bless you all, including the kids, and I am honored to follow you guys on this journey. Thank you for sharing such an intimate part of your life with us. Congratulations.

God works in mysterious ways! When we least expect these type of things - BAM…God shares a wonderful miracle in our lives! Rachelle and Justin - I am so very excited and happy for you both. I know you already have kids, however, when you know it’s almost 0% chance of happening naturally, it’s something you just don’t think will happen to you. So when it does, you realize what a true Miracle it is! God is still in the Miracle business and many people forget that!
