For 2.5hrs-3hrs away from Manila I would recommend Camayan beach resort in Subic and getting there superior room. The place is not that fancy but they have a stunning view. It is a private resort w/a fine sand, stunning view of Zambales mountain, Fish Sanctuary and a delicious breakfast buffet 👌
