BC are public record in most countries. If someone knows the full name of the parent/parents, where they along with the child was born and a rough DoB of the child anyone can buy a copy of someone else’s BC along with DC, MC etc… look it up on your own governments website they have a whole section just for that purpose. I personally think it’s wrong that anyone can do that but they can unless they’ve been sealed by a judge for some reason. All births, Marriages and de@ths have to be recorded for a census that’s updated every 100 years. Someone did that to my husband who’s originally from the UK and used it for his identity, we think the person who was an II saw his name in either one of our children’s birth announcements or his parents obituaries. That’s what some II are doing now so they don’t get caught, but this guy did when he tried to get a passport and the passport office notified the cops who then got in contact with ours here in California and informed us about what happened and had to investigate. Because my husband has had a passport since he was a child and they had a record of him renewing or updating his photo they knew who the real person was and who wasn’t. It happens a lot here in the States also. They (II) will go through the advertisements section of newspapers or just walk around cemeteries and pick names from the headstones and take that person’s identity. Again look it up it’s 🤢ning what some II are doing now to try and stay in a country legally without going through the proper channels and processes!
