Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. - Rom 5:3-5

It's so amazing how you are able to spread the word of God through your platform, Alex. I have come to God myself the past year and i truly appreciate the way you are bringing people closer to God. This past thursday i lost my mother suddenly, the pain is so, so hard but i have found, with faith, that the pain is easier to bear -and i find myself leaning on God in these times and trusting his way. God bless you and everyone reading this comment 🙏

Hey bro, I'll be totally honest, I don't follow your socials for fitness etc... (nothing against you, I just don't follow any fitness influencers.) However, I love this faith-based channel, and I am subscribed to it. I love how you are using your influence to spread the good news. I hope I will have the ability to do the same after my modelling career takes off. All good things come from Jesus

Thank you, I needed this One thing I learned this week is that I can’t open up to my parents. Every time I do it ends bad for me. I know you won’t see this but it would sweet if I could get some advice. I was texting this girl over last summer and then cut off for a few months because of my parents. I started it back in this January and went to her house with some other friends. She makes me feel like myself, I don’t need any walls or masks, she helps me grow both in my faith with God but also growing as a person, I don’t need to try to be someone because she’s friends with me for who I am. Anyways last night we got into a big fight because of the fact that I have been texting her a lot but also not all the time. And that I had not been in that great of a mood (which this argument totally helped with that….not). So in fear of being completely cut off from ever seeing or talking to her again. I opened up to some stuff that had been happening, my best friend or brother is moving out this week, I don’t like the job I just got, and I don’t love the church I’m going to. Everything’s hard right now. And this girl that I’m not even dating. I have to cut her out. She was already leaving to go work at a summer camp so I was already dreading that because I would only get to see her maybe 2 weeks out of the summer. I just feel stuck. the reason I cant date (and apparently be friends) her is because I'm 15 and my parents rule is 16. If you could reply back with some advice that would be very appreciated.

Life is suffering, or there’s ups and downs. Life was meant to be experienced and to experiment. So just do different things to find equilibrium.
@PharaohOfGames6 ай бұрын
Hello I am glad that you were able to come out with all that has been weighing you down. What you are experiencing is real and valid, regardless of your age. My advice would be to breathe and just allow things to be the way they are. You are young and there is so much room for you to continue to grow. I thought the same thing there was this girl I liked in school and thought man she is the one for me, I imagined us being together forever. It didn't even turn out like I had imagined at all, many things did and did not happen and eventually I never got to see her again. I thought how could this be she was the one for me, and still God said no. I know it can be frustrating and at times it feels like God is against you, but that is far far from the truth. You have plenty of room to grow and to experience life and all the good that God is preparing you for. When one day you will look back on your life and see just how God was protecting you and guiding you the entire time.

when he says about how you can't have a loving relationship with someone while constantly rebelling, and he compares that to us and the holy spirit, it is true, but its important to remember that he remembers our sins no more, and that he is infinitly more loving and forgiving than a human could be in a realationship. so he is 100% correct that PATTERN sin is a problem, (and all sin) but pattern sin brings us farther away. in romans 7 - For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!) this verse is NOT an excuse to sin, as he talks about how hes still fighting against it as strong as he can. i used to be in lustful pattern sin. i still commit lust almost everyday, even if its just a thought, but the sin is not near as prominent(masurbating, porn, etc)

Hey Alex ive been following you for about a year or more, fitness industry got me seeing you first and my relationship with Jesus Christ had me stay with you. I want to share I remember your chapter in life with the Tren Twins. Before i share I want to say with humility, I genuine love them guys and I genuinely pray they come into the fullness of God to where there radically changed by their relationship and surrender to Jesus Christ. I believe you either watered seeds in them or sowed seeds of Jesus Christ in them. However I knew they wernt the pedigree of friends God had for you to do life with. I genuinely understand the spirituall warfare that occuurs when you surrender to Jesus and run after his calling for your life. Satan doesnt fight Baal, Islam, Buddhist or any other God under the sun he only fights the one and only true God Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Man be blessed, be encouraged, im dealing with a very difficult chapter in my life as well and we need each other brother to carry one anothers burdens. I love you Alex your brother in Christ Casey Buchanan, I hope to hear back from ya.

Jesus said give thanks in ALL circumstances. That means both the good things and the bad. Could you imagine living your life being happy and thanking God for even the hard and painful things that seem terrible in the moment? If we could all live like this all the time we would be so much happier! Jesus said ALL things work together for good for those who LOVE God so that means literally everything that happens to us throughout our days and lives works together for our good and God’s ultimate plan. It’s honestly life changing to be able to see the things that look hard, but in a natural light we can see them and give thanks for every detail knowing that God is working all the time. God bless.
