the story part he mentioned is SUPER real, I have so much safari lore from my own personal experience for example one of ny friends making a phrase "shiny sunkern fled so riolu could stay" which in the future ended up actually happening. Or my safari redemption recently when I lost a secret lapras but ended up catching a safari shuckle. Its so awesome to see sliide mention that tho cuz it really does make things much more interesting.

Yea I feel you when you explained shunting to your mom. I did the same with my dad and as I was speaking I was realizing how ridiculous it was.
