how would I find the quadratic equation, when am only given the x intercepts and a point on the line(which is not the y-intercept)?

I don't get it - only 11 comments. I'm 72, design and build robotic welding systems and I still love math - I have to because I'm coaching my grandson and I want to be as good at it as Eddie.
