with price differences like these, japanese cards feel like the right choice for anyone without a near unlimited buget X3 when im nostalgic about a card ill *try* to lean towards getting it in english, but for modern stuff its the same art either way so it feels like the obvious choice to me, very glad i picked up the sar vaporeon at 45 bucks cuz that was the main thing i wanted from these sets

Great progress in such a short amount of time! I've barely found any in the wild - I think I'm up to 40 total packs? which is a lot compared to many people! I've pulled one trainer SIR so far and maybe 5 masterballs. Definitely making progress but this is probably a 2-3 year goal for me!

I just use ultra pro penny sleeves! If you want some that are just a tiny little bit shorter up top but fit just as well otherwise, vault x sleeves are great too.

What sleeves do you use for your binders? Also love watching your stuff!

Thanks! I just use regular ultra pro penny sleeves. As an alternate I will use vault x sleeves because they’re super clear and like… half a mm, a mm shorter than ultra pro. So sometimes if the stitching in a binder is super snug for ultra pro, the vault x fit better. But ultra pro is my default.

My general goal is just to complete it before the next set releases! It’s hard to focus on two at a time for me haha. And the faster I go means I can use the downtime for other things, like older sets etc

I won't say my job but I will say I'm very fortunate to be able to budget the way I do. This set is a little nuts... I'm not sure I would have "mastered" it without the motivation of the youtube channel behind me. But tbh that's why I started the channel, was to keep up my motivation for the hobby, and I'm supremely lucky that people watch and engage so that I can continue to plug along on crazy sets like this. I'll definitely talk more about it on future videos since this is such a crazy expensive set.

May I ask how you decide not to grade a expensive card like that Umbreon? (Even though a card like that has psa 10 potential) Im having trouble making that decision with a Gold Giratina Vstar, trying to complete the CRZ masterset😅

I like to collect in binders! So I’ve actually never sent anything out for grading. We may do that soon for some cards. I don’t think this one would get a 10 though!
