Finding Primary Consolidation Settlement, Degree of Consolidation and Settlement at any time

Hello sir. I have one question, the total settlement of shallow foundation equals settlement consolidation clay layer plus elastic settlement of sand layer? or consider consolidation settlement only as a total settlement of the foundation. Pls give me the answer thank you in advance.

Yes Total Settlement is equal to Elastic Settlement + Consolidation Settlement (Primary and Secondary)
