@@leehenry5764 In the UK it is illegal to process the mushroom in order to extract the compound Psilocybin...e.g. drying the mushroom. But picking the mushroom itself isn't illegal. In NZ, simply having a fresh mushroom on your person is enough to convict a person. One mushroom. I was 'busted' with four fresh caps in a paper bag, was arrested. Spent a night in jail. Taken to court and prosecuted by the Police. I now have a class A drug conviction.. I challenged the conviction because the mushroom were never tested. I was convicted none the less. Now I struggle to find work etc...I may as well have been carrying a gram of smack. Nonsensical and draconian in the extreme.

Reminds me of when I was younger and going to massage school in Gainesvill FL and would sneek into farmers cow pastures from the wildlife refuge "prarie" just south of town and adjoining their fields. The prarie area was infested with aligators and was illegal to be in where I was. I rode my bike in a couple miles on prarie dirt roads evading the rangers and then snuck into the fields. Lots of good mushrooms in the cow patties. I was always worried about the farmers shooting me with rock salt as I was told they would do if they caught you, but it made it a bit more exciting. Thanks for the inspiration Jonas! I need to visit that teacher once again!

Didn't have time to think. I just pulled up and sailed over it. Those shrooms I found were amazing eating them fresh as well!

It is actually making it more dangerous when its illegal. People will always try to find it anyways, when this mushroom is illegal identification is illegal too by mushroom controllers. This means that many people might risk picking a deadly lookalike.

@Gary Anderson that's what I do, 24 hours on a mesh rack with fan blowing on them, then they go into a big plastic airtight box on mesh shelves with calcium chloride in the bottom after 24 hours in there they are crisp dry, then I put them into a Sealy bag with the top open in an airtight mason jar with a little calcium chloride in the bottom, they can be stored for ages, I have some left from a year ago and they are just as strong as the day I picked them, I found my first mushrooms of the year a couple of days ago, found 173

A little bit every now and again does you no harm.....and the beuty is the mushrooms you pick to trip are seasonal.....thats nature's way of not giving too much to harm....my first liberty cap mushroom trip was when i was 13 year's of age.....saw a huge colorful eagle in the sky (colorful eagles don't exist like the one i seen ). Had a few after that...but never really got the same hallucinations as my first trip....and sadly got bored. But hey....it should never be a crime.👍

@@blaise5044 i reccomend 0.5gs for your first time, it will saturate colours and make you feel euphoric depending on your tolerance. Careful though, cause i tripped balls on 0.85g so .3g can really make a massive difference

Okay, that was clearly some farmer's private property. Have you have any issues with roaming around private property picking mushrooms. I am surrounded by Cow Pastures, but all in sight of the owner's house. I am very hesitant to walk on their land, or roll under their fence and start looking for mushrooms in fear that I will be chased off by a guy in overalls and a pitchfork. That being said, with the piles of Cow Dung I see and the rain we have had, I am sure they must be there waiting to be plucked.

Ķnow what your picking and remember the purplish blue spore print and stem bruises the same color a few minutes after pinching it . It looks like the blue in blue ink pens and not brown or reddish . You will have a bad trip every now and then but remember high wears off in 5 hours max give or take 5 minutes . If I do 2 grams I know I will be able to drive about 6 hours later no hangover and a clear mind .

Me too. Better to not chance it unless you are 100% sure. You can always order spores for research so you can learn more about them. The Spores don't contain any psilocybin so they are legal to order and study. Sporestore.com, Sporeworks.com etc. But if you find something in the wild, unless you are 100% sure, it's not worth it.

Better to use a paper bag than plastic, especially it they're in the sun inside your car! Using a mesh bag is the best as it will distribute spores as you walk, but those Liberty Caps are sure small! Wouldn't want any to fall through.

Yeah definately. You may even have them popping up before we do down here in the South. Look for lush pasture/farm fields. Medium to low grass (too long and they can still be there but hidden). Grazing animals can be good. Can be a bit of a mission finding your first fields but they are usually closer than you think! I'm going out for another scout today since we just had Rain. Good luck!

Sounds like you could be in a prime spot there mate! Plenty of open countryside. They can be choosy about where they grow and some years are definately better than others. This season seems to be starting slowly. Fields with Livestock are a good bet; cows, horses, sheep- they like the fertile ground. Grass not too short, not too tall (they do grow in taller grass but are a pain to find and patches are smaller). The fields in this Video are a pretty good example tbh. I've had some fields I'd have sworn were perfect, and barely found any, then I've hopped into the field next door on the off chance and totally struck gold! So just keep hunting (esp. after the inevitable rains on the way). It's a good reason to get out and about in this weather anyway. Oh and when you do find a spot; don't pick it dead right away. Take what you need. You should be able to come back year after year if you look after your patch and word doesn't get out! ;) Good luck buddy!

that isnt true. when pulled like this is breaks off where they bunch as a "caespitose cluster." if you cut half the stem the other half rots downward onto the rest of the fruiting bodies...either way you have zero point. I am an advanced cultivator and experienced hunter

when you eat them fresh as soon as you get them, they are very potent (from experience). but if you want to save them for some other time it's best to dry them because over time they start losing their psylocybin (a small handful of fresh mushrooms gave me a much intenser trip than 4 handfuls of 3 week old mushrooms, so best to dry them)

Thomas Smith I Think five to seven would be a very decent trip... if they are small. Two or three is good to try for the first time. Eating them fresh is possible but they can be stored longer dry and are also easiler to dose by weighting dry. :)

The potency remains the same when you dry them out unless you leave them under direct heat for EXCESSIVE amount of hours, like way beyond their normal drying point (normal dried shrooms usually look almost completely shriveled, but not to the point where they are rotten or black). If they are left out in the heat for too long, the energy from the heat will begin to break down the psilocybin and gradually decrease the potency.

I was told of a story of a man that was working security at a hospital late shift and trying to impress a secretary gal by showing her that he picks mushrooms from where he comes from But he unfortunately he mistaken ones that he thought he knew And ended up dying by consuming the most poisonous ones. I think it was called White Angel of death. So I wouldn't recommend anybody going out there by themselves going mushroom hunting 😏💀

i'm canadian and grow my own weed legally. we can get mushrooms e mail now. i think these were the mushrooms our pagan and north man ancestors ate rather than the hindu amanita. mother nature is wonderful.

To everyone, There is a very good and valid reason, why we turned away form Psychedelics and wrote religions, But its clear today that those good intentions and instructions have failed, as we don't even know we need to live a certain way, And we have also only in the last 15 years learned something , that in essence could change everything , but it brings with it a very serious question we have to ask ourselves , If its true that DMT is stored in the brain, And that its released at at moment of death, will we fully as a human race return to cannibalism, As we all once were, Putting the DMT flooded brains in a pot, to cook up and serve at the wake to everyone old enough ? This will mean that the disease that went along with cannibalism(BSE mad cow disease) also fully return to human race, We learnt once that this disease was intrinsically tied to cannibalism and the Old fully psychedelic ways, which is why we stopped using them and the mythic knowledge that psychedelics make you go mad and die come from, That inherent fear most of society has of them, This is why the religions were wrote, All religions are really about learning to tricking the brain into thinking its dead and releasing the DMT stored for moment of death, But as i said the religions clearly failed,.
