Here we are on May 17 and what you proposed is coming true around the world: new partnerships, new patterns of life, new modes of worship, food banks, drive-by birthday and graduation parties, reassuring our neighbors that this is no big surprise for the LORD. Finding purposes, stepping up to help those most impacted. Hope amid the storm. I agree, this may be the times we all look back upon as a spiritual and physical high point, amid V.U.C.A times. ..Joseph Of Arimathea? .. suddenly appears, then disappears.. he claims Jesus' body, buries him, then no more is heard of him.. he was not a disciple, and this tells us that non of the disciples saw Jesus die, or buried.. all that they saw was the empty tomb.. this, the evidence of the Resurrection? maybe he wasn't even dead, non of the disciples saw the Crucifixion or the body afterwards? Joseph of Arimathea was invented, to put Jesus in the tomb, as prelude to the Resurrection which was also an invention, probly?.. non of the disciples were witness to Jesus death or burial.. non of the Gospel writers witness to Jesus death, burial or Resurrection.. Gospel writers not witness to events they relate... HTB and Alpha Course, a money earner, probly...

so comforted and blessed by this honest admission from a godly brother...thank you for pointing us to Joseph, an unsung hero. I agree, the opportunities are incredible as the Church has been called into the secret place. But, we are vulnerable to losing focus and we need these words to stir us to deeper faith which leads to action. Thank you! Listening/watching from Houston Texas-grateful for truth and inspiration.. A different perspective on the Bible. Many prophets spoke of judgment of the world before Jesus returns to rule the world. It's been 6000 years since Adam. God has worked his work week. 120 jubilees. Moses was 120 years when the children of Israel went into the promised land. Now we see all the signs that Jesus said would be before the second coming and the start of the Kingdom of God on earth. He said to watch and pray. He said to accept the invitation to the wedding. He said to have enough oil in your lamp. He said be prepared for the thief in the night. He said beware of the leaven/pride and doctrines and commandments of man. He said beware of those that honour me with their mouths but their hearts and minds are not mine. In the history of Israel we learn the nature of man. Despite knowing God the majority of Israel rebelled against God and forsook his judgments. Man, predominantly, does not want God and never has. God cursed Israel and hid himself from Israel. And God did the same with the world. But God used this 6000 years to create souls. God has identified the wicked which are condemned and those that chose good over evil and which are in the book of life and which will live in the future earth and he has chosen the saints which go to heaven above and receive glorified bodies and return to the earth to reign and rule with Jesus when he returns to rule the world most likely in 2027. Most likely the 7 year tribulation will start this year and I believe Jesus will take the saints up to heaven in Pentecost. Jesus performed the Barley harvest taking OT saints up to heaven and the feast of weeks seems to commemorate the wheat harvest the rapture of the saints. God became Israel's enemy and God is the world's enemy and now we have the outstretched hand of God judging the world until Jesus comes to rule the world. Man is proud, arrogant, selfish, hypocritical, evil and vain to varying degrees. But Jesus saved the world and will come down to rule the world. God knows all hearts and will render to each person according to his ways.

'God knows all hearts and will render to each person according to his ways.'.. according to his ways, or according to his beliefs? does this mean it matters not whether you believe in Jesus or not, or whether you believe in Muhammad or not, what really matters is how you live your life? faith is not important?
