I am so glad that I found this channel! Over the years I have lost energy and interest in doing anything special at all. Perhaps I'll recapture that by watching this channel and realizing that it shouldn't be a chore, it should be a pleasure. I don't know how to get that back - - maybe this channel will do the trick! Thank you.

Let me say first of all that the black background is brilliant. No distractions, just totally in the moment. I made these creampuffs today because it's a rainy day. They turned out great. Even though it was the first time I ever tried to make them. I mixed some chopped strawberries in the whipped cream. Sooooo Good! Thank you. I love your videos.

I always rush things, even the ones I love. Even if later I don't have anything to do, I have this rush thing that is ugh! I watch videos like this because they help me to slow down. I let out a breath I didn't realized I was holding, my shoulders comes down again ... stress is a terrible companion.

It really is! And you can make it as simple or as intricate as you want. I also include other fun pages like habit/mood trackers, weather tracker, a page to record all the books ive read this year (its a bookshelf with empty books that i color in and write the book name after ive finished them😊) you can really be creative with it and make it like a journal as well 😋👍

Beautiful, I like the calendar, that is a great idea. It reminded me of the way I grew up. I grew up in a slow living way and those were beautiful times. These days life is rushed and that is not natural, it is artificial. I remember I made my first cake I was twelve years old, didn't come out well, but it was the first try.

I actually don't know how to cook but if I'm going to cook with this background music of yours from your videos, I will definitely become an expert what with the serenity and peace it provided for my soul that would help me focus to the cooking processes.

ok so i really do hate cooking. The time, the concentration (I get easily distracted), the mess.....i just am not a fan of cooking. But something you said in this video really chastised me. I have never thought of making food for my family as an act of love, just a chore. So thank you for this. I am going to try and remember this when I'm cooking this evening. :-)

Add in prayer as you move thru the recipe.....maybe one for each one to be at the table and then again while doing up the dishes

Just started watching some of these Hand & Harvet videos. Ah... to go back to simpler days...having more of a connection to the earth...to wildlife... appreciating the little things...eating quality food that you made with your own hands...where you know all the ingredients... I could do without the religious references in the videos, though.... What I find interesting and very effective in the videos is how they (purposefully?) don't really show the woman's face...I assume the idea is that by not showing her face, it's easier for each of us to imagine that WE are the person in the video...doing all those zen things... The only other thing I'd say is that, while I get, on one hand, why there are no other people in the video, in some instances I think it would be nice to have another person or two...to show that she's having some type of human engagement. So for e.g., there's one video where she goes off into the woods for a picnic, and one of the items in the picnic basket is an entire, freshly baked, whole apple pie. At one point, she cuts into the entire pie, to have a slice for herself. And it just feels a bit lonely... Mind you, I'm all for alone time, but that picnic with just her and an entire apple pie...it just felt a bit sad... ;-(
