Mostly the people u found on streets were not educated enough to speak n conversate with u property but they tried well n most of the time u understood what they r saying n even u translated it to correct for your American or foreign people by putting subtitles. I'm happy for that. I must salute u for coming the former 5th dangerous city n the most dangerous area(lyari) alone without having any safety measurements. I wish u found out the people around who could have portrayed you even more better. But i understand they are mostly the office going people I'm talking about so they were not there on streets. But i hope u enjoyed coming. And yeah now Karachi and even the whole country is safe to visit any time. Thanks for coming and showing the real face of Pakistani people to the world. ► Filmed DECEMBER 2019 Hi Guys! Thanks for coming on this adventure. Before I go into detail about the video, Happy Ramadan to all of you in the Muslim world who are celebrating! Like many of my videos, I completely winged it in search of an authentic video with spontaneous interactions with the locals... and I had no idea if I'd come up with anything worthwhile. But the many cool people from Lyari came together to make this video a reality! My goal is to always get you into the local world without any filter, to show you the true feel on the ground. Some videos work out better than others, for me, this one worked out well. Thank you to the people in Lyari who helped. I know Masood (the man in the white) was doing some work behind the scenes to make sure that making this video was cool with those in charge of the neighborhood. There is a social order and hierarchy in Lyari and things like this don't just happen without clearance. Masood was like a guardian from the time I got off that rickshaw in the beginning until the end of my time in Lyari. This video probably wouldn't have happened without him. A special thanks to the cast of characters: Ramzy (The Rapper) - Insta @ramzybaloch_ Abid Shaka (The Entertainer) - FB @AbidShakaFromLiyari Abdullah (The Boxer) - Insta @a_j_boxer_bhai Khan (The Real Estate Tycoon) - Insta @bilalkhax Masood (The Guardian/Organizer) - FB bit.ly/2SFytGv Nasir (The Driver) - FB @nasir.tanoli.33 Shani (The Philosopher) Faisal (The Spectator) - FB tanoliprincefaisal Thank you to everyone else who was part of this video! And lastly, thank you all who watched. I couldn't do this without you! Okay, I'm back to editing. Next video served up in a few days. Take care :)

I have been staying in pak since 8 yrs as a Nepali and I must admit , pak is . Most mis understood Nation. I had the best life with so much genuine love from totally family like brothers, sisters. I have lived in India too. But I must admit I have the best, very clean, friendly life here in Pakistan. Pakistani are mis understood for their overwhelming kindness and loving, hospitality. Media has always negative chunk out of Pakistan to quench their diet on but in reality, pak is way way far more of a very standard and hospitable and loving country with kind Pakistani ppl. Just one word goes for Pakistani ppl "friendly and truly caring" This definition is misinterpreted on the outside World thankfully from this video its evident and would soon be in real sense to whole world as Pakistan has been open to whole World. Easiest country to travel to and get visa on arrival. One day pak wud compete Europe I second you the beauty it owns is beyond any level it's just not realized. Thee perception has not yet reached on larger scale. Imran Khan is a true human leader of world not only Pakistan. Having idolized to him I m blessed to have shaken hands with my idol. 🤝 I as a Nepali live in Pakistan I want to tell all the Pakistani ppl ur love and hospitality is ur most powerful owning In World from being universally most loved nation in the world. That is Pakistan that is no like other country. Pakistans soul and its diversity is far more beyond then what is even shown here. Its gigantic in every form just no entertainment media to show other thn stupid war and bad politics..Pakistan is way much more then what you think it is its totally opp to what the media gain by just defaming it. In real sense i see Pakistan' a heaven with loving ppl in its country which is priceless.

@irfankhanc84 жыл бұрын
They did a wonderful job. Before they got special rights, killing was normal especially the gangsters used to kill anyone any time in front of police. 40 people per day. They would collect money from businessmen and would kill them if anyone resisted. Then came rangers. Started operation. Now, a person thinks 10 times before committing a crime. Police behavior has also changed considerably in the past 6 years or so. People alone in Karachi bought Pakistan flags worth over Rupees 20 billion in a day. Over 20000 intelligence based operations were conducted by Pakistan armed forces in 5 years. That doesn't include the operation in FATA. 8000 soldiers laid their lives. We are happy that their sacrifice was not in vain.

I'm a Baloch myself and the truth is when the Atlantic Slave Trade took place many centuries ago, many were taken by western powers in their respective countries, and a lot of those people i.e. African origin(Sheedis) migrated through boats to save their lives. Therefore, they came to the shores of Pakistan which are Sindh and Balochistan. The Balochi and Sindhi welcomed them open-heartedly. The Sheedis learnt the local language and started calling themselves Baloch/Sindhi. That is why you only find Sheedis in parts of Sindh and Balochistan only and not in Punjab and KPK because they're landlocked. My point is, Sheedis are not the actual Balochi people. The real balochis look like Iranis and to some extent like Arabs.

As an Afro American, it's interesting to see how popular parts of our culture like Hip Hop is around the world and how people participate in Hip Hop.
@benjaman21rottens2 жыл бұрын
Hip Hop was supposed to he "Universal" but the africans americans that claim to have invented It on their own without even acknowledging latino americans like puerto Ricans involved or even all the white graffiti writers from before Hip Hop even existed are ruining the Unity and the beautiful Side of music being able to trascend racial barriers, of Course black people are the origin but you can't deny how It evolved right from the beginining when It starts to expand across the streets and different kind of people started to feel represented by THE MESSAGE behind, Hip Hop was about the streets, about life, about neighborhoods, and a lot of people can understand that. I think african americans dont realize that They are contributing to destroy the power of a Culture that came from the most multicultural place on earth and that seems to be NYC, what about the human side of everything? Its Hop Hop YOUR CULTURE? What about the Universal message? It isnt supposed to be OUR Culture? The culture of the streets, of stopping the violence, of expressing yourself, of overcoming adversity. Maybe ok just an outsider or a "guest" for being from another country, and everybody whos ever feel represented by Hip Hop culture and its not from the states and its not black should start forgettin about that too. Damn, that shit kind of makes me mad

This city of Karachi has total population of whole Sri Lanka 😁
@irfankhanc84 жыл бұрын
The actual population of Karachi is somewhere around 40 million. Around 5 million people from Bangladesh migrated to Pakistan. We have at least half a million Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar. The pashtun population who work in Karachi are also not included in the census. So the actual population of Karachi is around twice the population of Sri Lanka and surely it's in the most populous cities of the world list.

I studied in Karachi i did my o levels from there then moved to capital . This city used to be 2nd best city after Islamabad and back in 2003 04 i remembered it was cleanist city and infrastructure wise it can compete with modern Islamabad at that time . The corrupt SINDHI ELITES and their corrupt political party pakistan peoples party known as (ppp) ever since they camed in power in 2008 onwards they ruined everything no infrastructure no devolpment they didnt care about education. This city wasnt hectic but now it became worst and hectic . I can easily say one of the worst south asian city . Slum neighborhood lyari where you visited they kept as political slaves . Corrupt politician owned these gangs for political murder land grabbing kidnappings or killing rivals drugs business and they were real deal they had army weapons . Area controlled by leaders . Next street there was another rival supported by other political party . Then 2010 to 2012 was peak no one can enter to other town . Once i was stuck there in 2005 or 2006 we went for charity to help our house servant she lives in lyari and suddenly the war started and that weapons they used i felt like i m in baghdad we were frightened i was with my mother . Lyari is like FAVELA the Brazilian slum exactly same norrow street gangs . But now Pra military cleared lyari from gangster and its much peaceful all gang members either killed or arrested and they're under army custody . People there are good talented sportsmen boxers footballers cyclists and some even won medals in Olympics . and finally they're getting education. In short Karachi and sindh is ruined by corrupt sindhi political elites other than corruption they did nothing no devolpment no education nothing so they can be political slaves . I hope people from rural sindh dont elect corrupt elites otherwise they'll be slaves .

Peter, you have some kahonas! as a British Pakistani, whenever I visit Pakistan it's always tempting to go wandering a little off grid every now and then. It's times like that when you get into some intense situations like yours. And when I watch the slight anxiety on your face, it reminds me of some of those moments of when I have said to myself "shit this is exiting but I really don't know how this is gonna turn out". This is what I call a true travel documentary. Stay safe my friend but don't stop doing what you do.
