Lovely! It wasn't until I started watching your films that I became aware of the Chinese water deer, a sweet species indeed. Q; What do bitterns say when you tell them jokes? A; "Boom boom!".. Sorry about that 🤣.. Nice one Liam! 🌟👍

I had no idea that we had cranes in the UK. How exciting to see them on your film. How much bigger are they compared to herons?

I like the adventurous aspect of your videos Liam… the introduction of the thermal scope really adds to this. Hopefully we will get to see more thermal scope coverage , late evening coverage would be really exciting. Well done on your 💯 hit rate on spotting target animals. Hope your luck 🍀 continues . It’s great for us 👍😊

Hi Liam - I love your videos. I live on the island of Bornholm in Denmark. You may have heard about it when someone decided to blow the two Nordstream pipe lines. I see always see cranes on my 3-acre field every year when they arrive in the spring. There is a small forest lake and wet area not far from my house where a couple of cranes nest every year. I never go there in the nesting season so as to not disturb them. They are pretty skittish birds. A couple of times over the years, I have been lucky to see them leaving the nest with their chicks always in a row headed up by papasan, then the chicks followed at the rear by mamasan. I think that they are looking for open country or fields without tall trees so the chicks do not have an accident when taking to their first flights.

I really enjoy your enthusiasm towards discovering and sharing new footage of certain animals in their natural habitats. When I visited Strumpshaw Fen, I was unaware that we had cranes or Chinese deer in the area. Great video as usual!

Great views of the cranes and water dear , as well as the rabbits. You'll get your crane chick one day....or at least have a great time trying. Keep the videos coming. Love them

I know it's probably not your thing, but those of us that hunt have been using thermal for several years now and it'sa real game changer. Hic make some cracking thermal spotters and rifle scopes. I'm more of a 'Pulsar' fan to me honest, but Hic are very good, as are some of the other newcomers onto the thermal market.

Great stuff Liam, love your videos. The thermal imaging kit will be great when you really get into it...can it help see bat activity at night or are they too fast/small for it to show much detail? Interesting...
@peterosborne9802 Жыл бұрын
As always we thoroughly enjoy watching your video's, i notice or am i wrong that the thermal image camera is not the only thing that you have got. How about a video on the video gear you use. 👍
@PaIaeoCIive1684 Жыл бұрын
Would using the thermal camera by night - in the same manner as an infra-red device -make it more effective in spotting birds and mammals? We used an early thermal imager at university in the 90's in a wood at a badger's sett location. Only managed to see the mating ritual of a pair of young men that night!

Another great video Liam. Sorry to ask but is there a problem with myxomatosis or calicivirus in rabbits and hares in the UK. Because they are an introduced species here in Australia they are trying to eradicate them in the wild Horrible diseases.

Hi guys, can anyone recommend 1) a camera for inside a nestbox. There’s too many to choose from and I don’t know where to start! 2) binoculars for birdwatching, again lots to choose from but I’m new and don’t really know what to look for. Thank you

Seeing wild animals in the middle of a field with nowhere to go back to must be a bit nerve racking. But Liam handles these things really well.
