Hi Maddie Some nice Jewelled Dog Whelks, Scary Murex and a nice little Keyhole Limpit. And who could miss the Moon Shells in many varied colours. As usual thanks for sharing this 🐚 shell adventure.

G'day Aussie Dirt Digger 👋🏻💖 Oh gosh, the shells here are nice, aren't they? I wonder why I don't find many/any Jewelled Dog Whelks at the usual beach, and the reverse for limpets at Hervey Bay 🤔 it's amazing how different these two places are; but still filled with fun things to find 😉 As always, thank you so much for coming along on the shelling adventure today 🥰

Good morning, Maddie The Venus shells are just too cute, dog whelkes, nutmegs, murex, strombus, drupe shells, turban, top shells, nassa, wintaletrap and limpit. The moon snails were very amazing. I loved the colors on all of them, along with the beautiful swirl to the rip of the shell. It was so very shiny and really showed off the colors. Just WOW !! It looks like you had a great day at harvy bay today. I can see why you keep going back. No matter where you go, shelling it is always so much fun. I love it when there are shells I have never seen before. I think there was one today, but I don't remember. When you find a shell, you can hear a smile behind you telling us what shell it is. Thank you for another wonderful day of shelling. I hope you have a wonderful day, Maddie

G’day Toni 👋🏻💖 Oh my goodness, you have really learned the names of these Hervey Bay seashells 🐚🤩 I still can’t get over how many different types of Wentletraps are here (some off-camera), I’ve found whole or pieces of at least 4 different species at the one beach now! Ahh but the Moon Snails, Murexes, Strombuses, and Balers are probably my favourites from here, but like you; there is no way to pick a favourite among them! I wish I could always find shells that I’ve never seen before, but gosh, I think I have a few hundred different species now: I keep wondering when I’ll run out of new ones! I still love the usual suspect though 😉 Thank you so, so much for always joining me on these trips; I always love going to the beach, and I’m extra lucky that I can’t take you along with me. As always, thank you for finding the time to come along with me 🥰

Thank you for your time. Have a great day or night. I'm not sure of the hours difference between Gere and there.

G'day Maddie!Another lovely bunch of shells!I don't know why,but those Flinder's clam shells with their lovely ridges are like like the wentletraps of the the bivalve world! That scary murex is also interesting with all it's texture and the jewelled dog whelks are so adorable as well!! And who can forget the moon snails,with their interesting colors and beautiful 'eyes'!Thanks again for sharing your adventures with us! Bye for now👋

G'day Lenora 👋🏻💖 Haha, I never thought of them like that!!! Wentletraps of the bivalves world, ahaha, I may have to use that to describe them in the future, that's super fun to think about 🤩! But gosh, my heart belongs to those colourful looking moon snails, and the extra frilly Murexes 🐌❤️ and it's really interesting to me that there are so many Jewelled Dog Whelks here, but almost none at the usual beach 3 hours away 😅 I'd have to be really lucky to find on there!! Thank you so much for coming along on another shelling adventure with me 🥰

G'day Mimi 👋🏻💖 Hehe, I do love the Hervey Bay shells 🐌🐚❤️ I'm already planning to go back again this weekend 🤩 I love those moon snails so much as well!!! Gotta say though, the rarer Murexes and Baler shells keep me going back too, I was almost disappointed when I didn't find one that day, but I got so many other great shells instead, so it's all good 😉 Oh gosh, the Flats and Nutmegs too, I'm just too spoiled at this place. Thank you so much for watching 🥰

Good Morning Maddie ! I love the ribbed mitre. The amazing nutmeg is amazing lol. The campbells strombus is so pretty and that burnt edge rock whelk is gorgeous. I love the green and gray in those moon snails. They are just so pretty. The sordid moon snails are beautiful with that maroon. I think I would make the trip for those moon snails and those scary murex myself. It is worth the drive. That red leafy oyster was so wonderful. Oh Maddie I just love all those moon snails. The pastel ones are so pretty. Those jeweled dog whelks are wonderful too. Thank you so much for making the drive and sharing this adventure with us. I love you videos. You bring me such joy watching them. My favorite today is the scary murex shells too. I do love the moon snails but those scary murex shells are just breath taking. Stay safe and I can't wait for the next video. Love ya girl.

G'day Anita 👋🏻💖 Oh wow, the shells really spoke to you this time 🐚 I agree, the ribbed mitre was awesome; I can't wait to find another some day 😄 The shell piles has so many amazing shells right in front of my eyes, but gosh, I just love those Campbell's Strombuses and Nutmegs. But, of course, then there are the moon snails 🐌😍 I thought you would maybe mention them first, or did I just overwhelm you wil so many of them this time?! The super colourful ones,and then the faded pastel ones...gosh, I'm already planning my next trip up to Hervey Bay this weekend to find more 🐌❤️ Between the different coloured of the Sordid Moons, which is your favourite? I think I am quite partial to the light blue ones; I don't often see many blue shells! Finally, of course, the favourite is that stunning Scary Murex, huh? Wow, I already want to find more like that - am I too greedy 😅? Oh my goodness Anita, I'm so pleased that you enjoy the adventures 😀 I know it sounds corny of me to say this, but I'm stoked that filming these little moments of mine can bring a smile to someone else somewhere in the world 🎉 Thank you so, so much for taking the time to come along with me and share the experience 🥰

@@SandCoffeeRocks hehe I was actually commenting as I was watching this one. I was watching on my tv and then commenting on my laptop which is why I didn't mention the moon snails first. They are always my favorites and so are those murex shells. Those are my all time favorites no matter what else. Well sometimes a very special one will pop up and over ride them for my favorite but not that often. Oh I got some purple dove shells. If I can figure out how to post them here I will share a pic on your web page. I want you to know that you ALWAYS bring a smile to my face.

Good day Maddie, don't know why but I love the thorny oysters. I just find any funny shaped oyster fascinating and beautiful. What beautiful bladder moons you were finding. You called it a scary murex, it looks just like the lace murex found in Florida. That striped shell is very cool. You sure found some awesome seashells. Thanks again for sharing Maddie, always enjoy videos. Have an awesome weekend. Sending big hugs!!!

G'day Roberta 👋🏻💖 I can understand Roberta, the Thorny Oysters are just fascinating seashells 🐚🤩 though mine are the least nice ones that you'll ever seen 😅 they can grow in really spectacular ways sometimes!! Oh yes indeed, my Scary Murex looks a lot like a Lace Murex! I think mine is bigger though, but the Lace Murexes are more ruffled on their body too, I think 🤔 Phew wow, I really did find some fun shells this time, right 🐚💖 Thank you so much for watching 🥰

Hi Maddie! Another great video! It's remarkable how much your moon snails and lace murexes look just like the ones we find here in Florida even though we're in different oceans on different sides of the planet. So cool. You have such a great variety of locations there to have your shelling adventures in. Hopefully we can join you one day! Hugs, Chris and Kandie
@SandCoffeeRocks
@SandCoffeeRocks Жыл бұрын
G'day Chris and Kandie 👋🏻💖🐚 Hehe, there is a reason that the Moon snails and Murexes look so similar!! It's because they're not only in the same shell family, they are also in the same genus. The Sharkeyes and Bladder Moon Snails are both in the Neverita genus 🐌 and the Lace and Scary Murexes are from the Chicoreus genus; that naturally makes them look quite similar!! Still, it's just amazing that they're so closely relating while being on opposite sides of the planet 🌎 and goodness me, I've barely scratched the tip of the iceberg when it comes to shelling locations. Seriously, the entire country as so much; it would be amazing to go to Western Australia some day: that's were the REAL amazing shell finds are!! But, I do pretty good for where I am 🤩😉 Gosh, I'd love a meetup one day, wouldn't that be something?! Thank you so much for watching 🥰

Oh wow, the favourite was the new and unusual Wentletrap 🐚🤩 I'm shocked, I think I've found pieces of about 4-5 different species of Wentletraps here now - so surprising to see so many different kinds!! And then the Nutmegs, wow, they are just lovely, and I found a bunch of them today: woohoo! Oh NO Sheila 😧 I hope you home and family are all right, a big storm like that can be so dangerous 🌩️⚡🌩️ I mean, it's great if you're next to the beach and want to go shelling, but not for anything else!! G'day Trudy 👋🏻💖 My goodness, you're always up so late!... Wait, is that 12 noon for you? Haha, wow, 61!! I'm sure I managed to squirrel a few extra away into my bucket with no one seeing, but we won't talk about those 😜 I really loved that Dubious Ribbed Mitre too; my seashell book say it's an uncommon shell (and it usually understates things!) And wow, when they are fresh, these shells look really cool 😎 I would really love to find a less rough one someday, it's a fantastic shell. Oh, you know, Hervey Bay has a fair few Thorny Oysters 😳 it's just that most of them don't have thorns anymore, and I only show the ones that do. This one was pretty cool today 🤩 Oh Trudy, I can only imagine how long that list is now! I think it's a bigger challenge than you thought it would be three months ago! Don't wear out your writing hand 😉 Take care of yourself and your wonderful Bob and Bearsy 🐶💖🥰

The Lace Murex is Chicoreus dilectus, the Scary Murex is Chicoreus territus. Both are from the Chicoreus genus, so even though they're on other sides of the world, they naturally look very similar! I think my Scary Murexes might be a little larger?? But yes, so similar! Thank you, as always, for coming along with me today 🥰
