The child and merg is pretty op tho you can't say otherwise. Put child in a spot it can't be killed and spam merg. If merg gets killed just place it back again. Use it to kill everything. Maybe put the guardian symbol on it so it blocks hits. And then you just spam merg. Perfect

Child 13 seems to have an ability where when you first sacrifice it, that's what gives it flying & 2 damage, then you sacrificed it again & it went back to sleep, I'm guessing it will constantly repeat that pattern, which seems like it will be very good, also Merg card op, literally Merg The Undying.

There is also a secret, where if you sacrifice him 13 times, he will turn to hungry child. Hungry child has literally no stats displayed, not even 0/0. He doesnt attack, and dies from 1 hit

You should try Kaycee's Mod. I think despite being called a "mod" its in the base game. Turns the game into an actual roguelike, with more randomisation, cards and bosses. Quite like that the devs decided to make the game infinitely replayable.

All the rare cards do something beyond what's immediately apparent. Well most of them anyways

What you need to keep in mind is that if you can do 5 damage on your first turn in any way, you can just instantly clear battles and drain boss lives. I'd recommend using anything that can attack in multiple lanes at a time and just buff their damage a ton so you just end up doing 5-6 damage on your first turn, neglecting the need for dealing with boss mechanics (because they can be really annoying) Also, most of the rare cards' abilities aren't displayed and rather you figure out as you play.

I kinda wish you had put the cockroach sigil onto the black goat, since that combo is notorious for being absurdly useful: A card that costs 1 blood, gives 3 blood when sacrificed, and returns to your hand every time it is killed/sacrificed.

Trust me, this thing is worth all the time and money you’ll spend (and it is long.) Don’t worry, not all puzzles are required, it’s mostly for benefits. The dagger can help you in ways outside of battle. Use it more, you may find something interesting that had not shown before.

That counter on top of the pause menu is equal to the number of teeth you have Also the only reason why the Angler felt easier is becaise you had time to make a good combination and you drew it first turn. The game could've absolutely messed you up if that didn't happen
