How long do you stay at a spot before moving on? Also, if you use iron out does it affect the smoky? Thanks!

Thanks for the questions! I wound up staying at the same general area for about the whole day of digging. I would go 3-4 feet left/right, but would stay in that general area to get those smokies. At one point I tried two other spots for about 15 minutes each, but none of those areas were producing any crystals, so I went back to that area I was getting the smokies. Also, I used Iron out on about half of the smokies, and there was no change in their coloring at all, which tells me it wasn't an outside coating, but in the crystals themselves. Everything else was washed with water. 👍
