My 2 pet Eastern milksnakes are really starting to get bigger but they have a ways to go before they are as large as some of the individuals that y'all found. Mine usually don't hesitate to eat though. One of mine actually ate within 15 minutes of bringing her home and getting her set up in the terrarium. She grabbed the mouse without hesitation but having been wild she might not have eaten for quite awhile. I guess these 2 Eastern milksnakes will be the last 2 that I ever have unless they are eventually bred more often in captivity. I say that because these snakes are pretty young and the species can live up to 20 years on average in captivity. I don't see myself hunting down any more snakes at 68 years old. I've collected wild snakes very infrequently because I never collect anymore until a current pet passes away. Before I had the 2 that I have now I had a previous female who I found as a baby for 21 years. Awesome video Will.

usually for smaller states I keep the location obscure as to avoid drawing attention to sensitive sites!

I'm more than sure you guys know what you're doing I don't know I have a lot more than I do but I've kept a lot of snakes myself growing up especially rat/corn snakes and king snakes but I've always was under the impression that it's not safe for the snake to pick them up by the tail like that it can hurt their spine is there any truth to that???
