I think it might be sightly faster if instead of figuring out each area separately then adding them i think you could of done somthing more like this: A = B + A A= lw + bh/2 A = 3 x 7 + 7 x 3/2 A = 21 + 10.5 A = 31.5ft^2 this is refering to the first exampel (:
