Hi Jessica! I just discovered your channel and it was like a breathe of fresh air. I am from Baguio, and I heard that you have never been here. So I just want to list down places and food to visit if ever you finally visit here. 1. GOOD TASTE (The famous one) - Try their buttered garlic chicken and pansit. but honestly most of their menu is mouthwatering. 2. PIZZA VOLANTE - Honestly, my go to order here is PESTO PASTA with Chicken and 10 inches pizza (half kenny george/half balognese). I add a pinch of salt of my pesto every bite. So goood. 3. FOAM CAFE - Just a famous coffee shop. Nothing new but their new location in Legarda has a good ambiance. 4. GRUMPY JOE - Another famous pizza place. I forgot their menu but their pizza tastes so creamy and chewy. 5. STRAWBERRY TAHO - They are every where in every tourist spot. So if you saw one, try it. 6. ILI LIKHA - This is the famous one along session road. They are known for their art and etc. They also serve good food. 7. SLAUGTHER HOUSE - also famous for serving good food like bulalo. 8. PETS BULALOHAN - Must try their sizzling silit and liver. 9. VICTORIA'S BAKESHOP - Must try their famous creampuff

Ahhmm.. Very good review... I tried to cook the pares before, and one recipe I followed is that with anis but with no ginger... I don't like the anis that's why, hindi ko bet ang pares.. But there's another one na recipe na ginaya ko na may ginger and anis... Mas nagustuhan ko siya though hindi masyado kasi ayoko talaga sa anis..ang many pinoy doesn't like anis..that's why nung sinabi ni diwata nung beef pares ang benta nya ay hindi mabili, pero nung pinalitan nya nga pork pares ( ang probably tinangal nya ang anis at nilgayan nya ng luya pampaailis ng after taste sa pork na FYI, ito ung way ng mga 5-star chef lapaga nagpapakulo sila mg pork nilalagyan Nila ng luya)...Mas marami daw ang bumili...kasi parang naging adobo na may sabaw...and this what makes Diwata Pares different from the normal beef pares...walang anis at me luya.... Very waray na luto... Dahil ang mga waray ,they always put ginger sa mga sabaw Nila.... I shee..I wanna taste this myself...

I guess but they also serve food, It's like unique halo-halo it has pandan Jelly and the red one I don't remember but the texture is Chewy and Crispy inside its like singkamas? I tried it twice I accidentally discover it becausw I have Schedule at Full out studio same building. Then I think 4 or 5 days ago I order it in grab. Jessica looks cute whenever she can't wrap her head regarding the concept of a "boy" and a "girl" going out for a "pasyal". You can put it this way, when kids (yes like the 5 to 10 year old kids) play with their playmates, Filipinos doesn't really mind the gender aspect. They are just "kids" that can extend a little bit to adolescence. Though not 100% case since romantic feelings do develop during those years too. I guess the Diwata pares is like the pares usok style (more meaty taste than sweet and sticky like Retiro style). You can also try dipping a fried chicken (like Diwata's Siken) to a Sinigang dish for that flavor twist. Tried it myself whenever I have that combo (Fried Chicken + Sinigang na (whatever meat you want).

Diwata is cheap but dont expect much on the quality of the food. If you want a really good pares go to PARES POINT in chino roces ave makati just right after makati cinema square coming from waltermart makati it started out early 2010 when im still working in makati as a sidewalk cart before now its a restaurant and the price is just right for the quality. Still cheap for a makati base food galore. Also a good restaurant in Macapagal Blvd going to OKADA is the BLUE SEAS its a small restaurant but the adobong pusit is to die for and their sinigang!!

Di nako nagulat na hindi niya pinili ang diwata pares. To be honest, di ko din masasabi na sulit siya especially if sa malayo ka pa manggagaling para lang i-try. Mukang marami yung serving kasi maliit ang mangkok. Isang sandok lang puno na agad . And medyo naumay kami since ang lasa lang ay nanggagaling sa lechon at chicharon bulaklak. Yung sabaw hindi namin malasahan 😢 Yung manok masarap din naman pero masyadong OA ang pag describe ng ibang vloggers. Nothing special if ico-compare sa ibang kanto fried chickens. Kung taga Pasay ka lang din, siguro sulit nga siya. Pero kung dadayo ka para lang magtry, wag ka mag expect masyado.
