Is Grubby awesome? Yea. Do we need another Grubby? No. Is Wtii awesome? Yea. Do we need another one? No. History is full of fallen companies which failed because they always tried to "beat the competition" instead of striving for own innoviation, losing grip of their own identity. It's difficult to define the soul of your content, the very soul i subscribed for. I didn't subscribe to find more Grubby content here, but because of the relaxed, yet ambitious way you present these maps. You did the right thing taking a step back and reflect on yourself instead of burning out. 👍

Im a teacher and theres so many teachers better than me & I often wish I had their flair. Even though I love what I do, when I start comparing I get burned out too. Taking a break and remembering why I started often heals me - starting a fresh new project often reinvigorates me also. You have such a charismatic personality & I'd love to see you play more popular games that youd enjoy. Our Wc3 custom map community it just too small. I watch other youtubers who have hundreds of thousands if not millions of subscribers and you're just as entertaining to watch! - your target audience (us) are too niche imo

And the cherry on top would be, if u played with Itachi XD thx for ur answer and i found it brave that u are so honest with ur audience but with yourself! Iam 32 and struggeling with PTSD and Depression for a long time, but since i heard what my body told me and changed my life it became better. And in this context I recall many times when I was down I watched Ur videos because u bring so much Joy and heart especially in ur early videos, that I could feel and so my sad thoughts where for a lil while gone. you want to compare youtubers ?!!! look at oreo, he records every day and he only mastered one game (helhalt), you on the other hand are decent at all the games you play... and still strive to learn how to play new ones... oh and about the big youtubers, most of them have studios and teams behind the... and they are not doing these videos for fun (if you listen closely you can tell with some of them)... sure the content is stellar class, but somewhere along the way they dropped the thing that made them big in the first place (the desire to actually play those games). so glad you are back... i have been stuck in oreo limbo for ages !!!

Self comparison is basically unavoidable it happens to all of us, but how we tackle it is how we differ from eachother. But since we already know that self comparison is unavoidable shouldn't we think of ways on how to take advantage of it?

@@VimpGaming So in my perspective with self comparison we usually would degrade ourselves which would in turn trick us into thinking we are doing our best or our hardest when in fact we are just taking the easiest route and suffering because we can't see success from it. So my take in that for self comparison to be positive is we have to (easiest thing to do in the mind but hardest to actually start or partake in) compare without only seeing the negative parts, because normally when we compare ourselves we only see that we are shit compared to them we have to learn how to compare ourselves without the biased mindset of anyone we compare ourselves to is better than us, because more than likely we are not as nobody is perfect. When we can start to do this we can then actually see and focus on the things that we need to improve not on the things we think are lacking but are in fact sufficient enough. Sorry for the long text and bad grammar, I'm bad at English and I can't explain it in a more easily readable manner xd.

Wouldn't the more enighten/virtuous path be to accept our shortcomings & simply more forward regardless. Type of thing that is easy to say & hard to do. Still workin' on it ;)
